a senior citizen went with their daughter to clove dental. they paid opd fees and doctors were very helpful and explained the issue. but the prices were a bomb. when the receiptionist was telling them that they are best and blah blah the branch manager came and told them to deposit 5k as advance and then he will help with discount. they told him to mention discount upfront but he said its not possible. then they decided to leave and then the manager said dont come to places like us if u dont have money and said many other things.later it was found that the person is a doctor too. can one complain about this to higher authorities like some government body or some doctor association?

Presently doctors are liable under the Consumer protection Act, so you can act as per provisions of the Act...
You can also write to ICMR highlighting the misconduct and unethical practice of doctor.
But do not expect any major relief. It's only for your satisfaction you can file a complaint
Since no monetey transaction took place between both parties and only words were exchanged.. all you can do to complaint in CPGRAMS and select Ministry of health from the drop-down.
Since you have don't have a concrete proof of what really happened but something bad happend for sure... then now its the time to do tit for tat.
Draft your application using chatGPT amd mention that they have asked to do the transaction in cash and offered discount for receipt-less payment.
Mention that they said in this way they will save some tax and we will save some money.
Also tell that you are a law abiding citizen and there must be something sketchy going on there, you are just trying to report this.
They will call you on the number provided and ask you everything..in case the complaint reached to higher level.

Try mentioning you complaint via X to clove dental. You will get some update
Sometimes no option, just try to give bad reviews everywhere and write complete truthful story (hope you get good response from people and clove guys apologize).

I complained about scammer go-mechanic buddy (asked/convinced me to pay for oil replacement when it was mentioned as part of package). I gave poor review on playstore, they called, I explained, they apologized. I said get it apologized by service buddy as I have the chats and call recording how rudely he talked. They didn't do shit, as I have been let down by life so many times I am now in habit of letting go for sake of peace of mind.

forgot to mention yesterday, they took 1000 for opd but in name of receipt they mentioned the money with pen on white page and stamped it when they were asked to provide official receipt. mailed them on email id mentioned in comments but no reply. have they mentioned the treatment prices packages somehwere on their website?seems like this branch is overcharging.
