UPI Name Error. BANKING Experts please help

I opened a new canara bank savings account. When creating bank account they used my name as short name. I mean account name is full name. But they have short names also. I registered mobile banking and signed there i can see my name is half cut. (FIRST MIDDLE LAST this is the correct name, instead of this it showong FIRST MIDDLE LA last 3 letters are missing)
So, i created a upi, in upi also same, last 3 letters missing. So i went to bank and raised a complaint. They changed short name to my full name. But in my upi its not changed. Again i raised a complaint about my upi name.
They deleted my upi from canara bank mobile app. I registered a fresh upi woth new VPA. Still name is showing wrong. I contacted NPCI twitter handle. They said contact bank only. Locacl branch people said they have a separate upi team. They will send complaint to the team. Still no response from more than 2 weeks. I registered in BHIM app also still the name shows wrong.
I verified my bank account name using Beneficiary verification in icici by paying 99rs. Name is correct. Now in passbook, bank database every where its correct except UPI. How can i change name in UPI. If anyone have any solutions please let me know :pray:

Close account & switch to a better bank. Open account yourself online & fill in correct details.
close bank account and reopen after some time. Thats the quickest solution possible.
Or
First open account in new bank then close the canara one.
Or
If you want to stick to canara bank account only, then Open new account in the same bank being you as 1st holder and add someone as 2nd holder ( Should be different from the earlier opened ) Then when all things work correctly, you may close the earlier one and then delete the 2nd holder ( as you wish) .
? Actually, I disabled and deactivated UPI. Bank people blocked the UPI and activated it again after three days—still the same problem.
yes saving account closure. This is suggested because the change in name of account and reflecting the same in UPI , that has to be done from backend. It requires a regular followups. Also if the staff sometimes doesnt know how to do that , then its gonaa take a long time. Its better to move on. And this next time carefullly fillup all the forms for account opening, take xerox copies of same.

I am also faced this issue recently. Every where my name is correct except UPI. My name last three letters are missing in UPI. Please tell me if any one over come this issue
