Union bank issue rupay platinum card to all account holders. Even to zero balance basic account holders. Only one card will issue per account. You have to maintain Rs 5000 while apply for rupay platinum card. Otherwise the computer will not allow it. I verified from branch. After applying for rupay platinum we can withdraw that 5000. charges is 100+gst
Annual charges are waived in BSBDA/BSBDS accounts and also in accounts where the account holder does 40 POS/E-comm transactions in previous year.

Union Bank also issue Instant kit RuPay Platinum debit card.
I went to my nearest branch(not home branch), they issued me rupay platinum card instantly, used the card same day to load into amazon
impossible, card activation takes at least 48 hours.
Card Fee increased to 300 + GST 😔

Union Bank of India needs 5K MAB for applying Rupay Platinum.
I think you can even apply if you have 15K Balance on the day of application.
Or else system will display error.

Replaced my Union Rupay Platinum JCB Debit Card with Rupay Platinum EMV (Discover, Diners Club, Pulse).

I tried opening a UDSA account , but the nearby branch ignored my online application and instead opening a regular savings account with a QAB of Rs 1000. They also gave me an instant rupay platinum debit (without any name on it ) and i could set the pin using the Green Pin option at the ATM. Was able to successfully use it for Amazon Friday offer.
Any ideas if we can get addon debit card as well in this bank ? Like Bank of Baroda or Canara bank ?
recieved rupay platinum card today but current account is opened showing two accounts in internet banking with out my consent did they opened? @abhishek012
Right but I assumed there may be some issuing charges for RuPay Platinum. if not, then even better. 😄
