[Tutorial] Get UNLIMITED Email Addresses INSTANTLY
In the spirit of Christmas, here is my gift to fellow Dimers which I hope will be useful for availing deals. Just one request, even if you are already aware of this information, please do comment and share your input. And, of course, your votes will only motivate me to share such things again in the future. Here goes nothing:
Option 11
I think it’s safe to assume that all of us have at least one Gmail address that we use regularly. What most of us do not know is that Gmail accounts come with an option to get virtually UNLIMITED number of email addresses without any effort. This is sort of an open secret. Just append a plus (“+”) symbol proceeded by some phrase to your Google ID to get virtually UNLIMITED Gmail addresses. For example, if your Gmail account is [email protected] then you will also get all emails sent to [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], and so on.
Option 21
Another related trick, though not as useful, is to add a dot (.) anywhere in between your email ID to get a new virtual email address. For example, if your Gmail account is [email protected] then you can also use [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], and so on. Obviously, the number of email addresses generated this way is limited by the length of your Google ID.
Option 3
Combine Options 1 and 2. Duh!
For the uninitiated, this means if your Gmail account is [email protected] then you will also receive all emails sent to [email protected], [email protected], and so on.
Usage for Deals
It should have dawned on you by now — you can use these tricks to bypass the one order per account restriction that is becoming quite popular with the ecommerce websites. This is also super useful for time sensitive deals. We all know how much it sucks to see the product OOS by the time we get a throwaway email address and are ready to order.
Other Usage
When a shady website, say XXX, requires me to give my email address, I usually append a “+XXX” to my Google ID before giving it to them. Then I create a filter in my Gmail account to label emails coming to “[email protected]” with something that will help me remind where I gave that email address. This way, I have caught and reported many spammers and data privacy violators.
Caveats
Some websites do not accept email addresses with a plus (“+”) symbol in them. Some are even smart enough to recognize the dot (.) variation trick, e.g., Facebook. YMMV.
Notes
You can add the plus’ed or dot’ed virtual addresses as “aliases” in your Gmail settings in order to reply or send mail as one of your virtual addresses2. You can add upto a total of 30 aliases per Gmail account. To add an “Alias”, click on the gear icon in your Gmail interface and go to “Settings”. Once there, click on “Accounts and Import”. Lastly, click on “Add another email address you own” to add any of your virtual addresses.
Sources
1. I read about the plus and dot tricks on my RSS feed some 8-9 years back. Sorry, can’t recall the website name, but it was surely popular enough to have made it into my RSS feed. Most likely one of these: slashdot, lifehacker, or arstechnica.
2. User @nitrodealr pointed out that Gmail’s “Send Mail As” feature can be used for dot’ed virtual addresses.
Update 1: The plus trick (Option 1) also works [email protected] email addresses.
Update 2: Every gmail address also has [email protected] alias. So if your address is [email protected] then you can also give/use [email protected] alias.

And if u hv multiple legitimate Gmail ID’s plz dont set up mail forwarding to a primary account. Sooner or later Google will ban all such accounts.
Why do you think Google will ban people with multiple accounts? They acknowledge and legitimize the use of multiple accounts here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1721…
Read the bit abt “Mail forwarding”
Since you did not post a link, I assume you are talking about this: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/10957…enAgain, I did not find anything to discourage the use of multiple accounts OR mail forwarding. Were you just speculating based on your hunch?
Well its more than a hunch for sure. U might be aware that creating a gmail acc. on Android does not require mobile verification. So I created a bunch of acc. & had later set them up to forward email to my primary acc. All went for a while until Google started demanding mobile verification for every one of the non-verified acc. Thereafter I created more non-verified acc. & washed off my hands of mail forwarding & hv not had any problems since. So I am guessing thats the reason.

Ah, I see why you would start to blame mail forwarding. Let me share some facts with you.
First of all, mobile verification is required on and off for even website registrations. Presently, it’s not required — registered a new unverified account last week. Now coming to the main topic, I have a few very old (7-8 years) Gmail accounts that are still unverified. These accounts were registered when I was living abroad (US). When I tried to login to some of these accounts after coming to India, Gmail asked me to do mobile verification. On the other hand, when I tried to login to some of these other unverified accounts using my US-based proxy, Gmail did not ask for mobile verification. Interestingly, I was asked to do mobile verification for some dormant unverified accounts even though I used my US-based proxy. Please note that I did NOT use mail forwarding in any of my old accounts I am referring to in this discussion.
So I think Gmail asks for mobile verification of old accounts when there is a: (1) major location change, (2) login attempt after a very long time (1+ year)
Hope this helps remove your fears about mail forwarding. You were asked for mobile verification probably because of reason #2, as we rarely login to the email accounts with mail forwarding enabled.
There must a spy here in desidime working at eBay
My (almost 3 to 4 years old) all ebay accounts created using this method are suddenly blocked today morning. I received mails today early morning very disappointed.
Update: Every gmail address also has a @googlemail.com alias. So if your address is xyz @gmail.com then you can also give/use xyz @googlemail.com alias.

But I strictly suggest you guys not to use this Dot or Plus trick because when you have problem with your order or when you need to contact support then you will be stuck with a userID/email which doesn’t exist, then you are gone forever. So use this dot/plus trick wisely wherein required and you feel there is no need to contact anyone again with that Email Id

You can create that particular DOT Email-id in case required to send-emails with that id instead of your Primary Gmail id.
That’s the luxury of having this trick.

We understand that you became a part of our website through our Join & Win referral contest and were eligible for certain rewards.
However, we have discovered that a few of the email ids which you invited were not genuine. Please see the list below
-
They sent the list of Email ID’s I/we used
So not recommended in all the cases buddy
^Agree with you mate.Everything has its Pros. n Cons.
Btw I never use Dot or Plus methods for any referral campaigns due to the dubious nature of this Trick.
I prefer this below pattern as it’s seems a bit more safer than associating n number of DOTS in your id.
if anyone has yahoo id, then (s)he can create unlimited IDs easily as below.
click on setting (top right corner by taking pointer to circle beside your name)→click on security→add any disposable BASE name e.g. if your email id is abcd123@yah…om, then add base name as abcd123*123* (highlighted part can be anything as you like). Then click on “Add” and give like 1 or 2 or 3 etc. So your disposable id will be created as abcd123123-1@yah…om or abcs123123-2@yah…om or abcd123123-3@yah…om etc→then save…Then again click on add and give any number..So email coming to abcd123123-1@yah…om will be delivered to your main email abcd123@yah…om. Even you can reply to those email by selecting your disposable email as “Sent from”…
Might be above explanation is confusing. If so, then PM me your query, I will tell. I have THOUSANDS of yahoo disposable ids just by single yahoo mail and I have looted so many tricks by this. (Recent is FK loot)..
Please give Karma if it is useful for you as it will boost my moral to share any such trick in future too. Thanks. (I know I should not ask Karma, but still….)
With unlimited email id’s, if someone can explain how to get unlimited new mobile number verification then only the tricks are useful.

As yahoo disposable ids are enough for me, so I have never tried any gmail trick. However you can try dealseeker methods mentioned in this thread. Hope that will help. If you need for loots, then not sure why you want to stick with gmail, as yahoo is perfectly working fine for me since 3 years and I never used gmail trick, just my opinion. And you need only 1 yahoo id for this so no verification issue etc

if you want to take up the task of blogging or formatting an article on
creating Google accounts in a jiffy, it would surely be a good read, if it includes the various (simple, complex) ways.
As such, you already have been there, done that https://desidime.com/searches/unlimited-email@bikidas2060 Although I am unaware of the method or lifehack being spoken of by bibliophile,
