I will visit Delhi with a family of 5 adults and 1 child in October. I am looking for advice to book hotels at the best rates.

Which could be a better option online or offline? I have another choice of railway retiring room too.

Nothing is cheaper than railway retiring room.

And they are also well maintained and hygienic.

Paharganj doesn't have a good rep, but they have decent hotels if you can choose a good road/area & check reviews well.

I am not sure why you considering Paharganj unsafe. It is absolutely safe area just make sure to book hotel that is on the Desh Bandhu Gupta Rd. The best thing about Paahrganj it is not deserted even in the mid night.

If you looking for 4-5 star hotel than Aerocity would be the best place.
