Hi! I am facing a problem with my Panasonic top load washing machine. Even after two rinse cycle, I have found traces of detergent on my laundry (specially on full pants) in a regular basis. I use Arial Top Matic liquid detergent and soft water is present in my area. I am using the machine for 6 months with 1-2 times usage per week. Generally drums are half filled, meaning not an overweight problem. Any suggestions are welcomed in this issue, thanks.

Use water with full tub. And 3 cycles completely.
Half tub doesn't wash properly.
2 rinses would have been sufficient.
Use liquid detergent
watch and increase cycles if required
Over the time lot of silt and detergent gets accumulated inside the washing machine part.. you need to clean your washing machine atleast once in 3 months.. use descalar if needed and also follow usermanual for this cleanup process.
Use optimal quantity of liquid detergent based on the type of fabric.. some need more quantity and some need lesser
Any specific descaler you want to recommenrd and is there any homemade
solution available (like using bleach and vinegar instead of descaler)?
Actually using washing machine for the first time in my life, don't have
much experience.
Try washing the full pant alone, without mixing with other cloths and check.
How much detergent are you using? Generally, if there is detergent stuck to clothes it due to too much detergent being used.
It's generally a trial and error until you know the perfect amount of detergent for your washing machine, amount of water in machine and detergent brand.
Same issue with LG top load here. If use too less liquid, cloths wont wash properly. If too much => stains. Kind of hack that works, dissolve required detergent in 1 liter water(not by shaking but swirling) and then pour after tub filled with water.
But thats the whole point of using liquid detergent! If I need to pre-dissolve it, then why should I use liquid?
Arial detergent is quite strong I feel, so when that liquid detergent falls on cloth, it may either leave some residue or stain, visible especially on dark clothes. What you can try is: fill some water in machine, and while it is filling water, pour the detergent before putting in any clothes in machine.
In addition to that, although I understand your point of pre-dissolving as a redundant work for liquid detergents, but if you can run wash mode just for a min before putting the clothes, it'll ensure detergent is diluted. That'll atleast stop putting stains or leaving concentrated residues.
Other thing you can try is changing the detergent to something like genteel or ezee, see if that makes any difference.
I've a Samsung top load full auto & getting good results with genteel. Water is moderately soft in my current area as well. I hardly use any descalers, like maybe once in 2 years. But my machine has a separate lint filter, which I think is not present/automatic in modern machines, I clean that up regularly as a lot of lint & other residues accumulate in it after every 4-5 cycles.
Also, I think it will be wiser to dilute the liquid detergent beforehand. I will surely give it a try.
I use genteel for woolen clothes and apparently it dissolves better than liquid detergent, but its costly.
Lint filter is present in my machine and catches a lot of unwanted pieces of fabrics.
Update: Now I have successfully standardised the protocol. Water level 7 corresponds to 15-17 ml liquid detergent, water level 8 corresponds to 17-20 ml liquid detergent. Thanks to all for the help.
Wash again yourself in bucket 🪣
