Friends how to clean shoes which has cloth/fabric material on top and rubber materials on below part and bottom sides? Tried using liquid detergent but it didnt help. Shoes are from local market not from some big company. Please share tutorial video and needed products, if any.

I put detergent powder in water and use that liquid with brush. It will remove all dirt

22G what's the color of the shoes? Use toothpaste and baking soda and scrub away dirt using a brush. You can also use diluted bleach (sodium hypochlorite), if the shoes are white. There are a lot of Youtube video tutorials available. Here is one of them.

What's the color of the cloth and rubber? Are you trying to clean a stain or overall.

As @Gulag-Survivor said Bleach is good way to clean tough strains. But if the shoe not white then Bleach can discolour cloth. You need exact percentage of bleach per 100 ml.  ( Of water)

That's why bleach is not recommended if the item is not white and one is not sure about the necessary concentration.

If the shoes are white apply white canvas shoe whitener after cleaning to make them look like new.

I soak them in aptly diluted rin liquid overnight and wash with plastic brush result zing zing amazing. Same with kids white socks and school white shoes from liberty

edit:

I use drinking municipal water for this, just like I use for shampooing. Don’t use ground water or more TDS water, as they form bubbles sometimes due to excess salt(?)

Never had canvas shoes, you can try the liquid used for the sofa and carpet cleaner. They may help you with the deep cleaning.

@DimeDude @GreyHenna @gdeal @Gulag-Survivor @Total_Fun

thanks for replying dosto. the color of the fabric thing on top is blue with black lines. i washed them in liquid detergent and then put them out for drying, not in sun but normal room drying and color is faded, maybe because its local market shoes idk. earlier i used to just wipe with wet cloth and it used to get clean but since they were very very dirty this time to had to wash them. the stains on the rubber on the sides and on the rubber sole below part didn't get removed. will this product clean the rubber part https://www.amazon.in/dp/B09M...HS and any cheaper alternative to this?

Washed in washing machine or applied liquid detergent with a brush? Rubber can be cleaned with diluted bleach or by applying liquid detergent and letting it sit overnight. From now on, you can use shoe protector spray to create a protective coating that will keep your shoes stain resistant, especially the white midsoles.

@kukdookoo - Canvas, Sports Shoes, all Crocs & rubber slippers  - I wash them in washing machine. Remove the insole, use 30mins cycle on 800RPM and they came out as new!! I run cleaning cycle before washing clothes.
