This temple gets highest donation every year, and instead of using A2 Gir Desi ghee they are using beef, pig fat. Such a shame!

They are getting A2 Gir Desi Ghee on MRP. Their trust members should join DesiDime for cheap price.

THAT is the spirit which lard manufacturers, traders NEED.

Although lard is OFTEN seen to have fallen out of favour due to vegetable oils and other fuel
in Chinese cooking and many other parts of the world.. lard is THE easiest and often all the cheapest source of cooking fuel.
And hogs/ pig fat has historically been the cheapest source material to make lard.

I do not know what CBN means, but
happy😅 to know you are ignoring it all as unreal.😆

Why the TTD chose some obscure dairy instead of a state provider like Nandini or Aavin or whatever the Andhra cooperative is to supply them with quality ghee is bizarre. When you have a private supplier giving ghee at 320/kg you have to expect they are cutting corners to maximize profit

Also very convenient for Naidu to politicize the whole thing

I am not sure, but if it is a private trust

then the trust (or rather the trustees, junior staff) sees its own benefits first.

You seem to come from a very naive thought process.

Go to even the smaller ones like the treasurers of Siddhivinayak Bombay or others.. to seek nominal (even 10-12 crore) investment in some financial products

and see how wide their mouth opens (expecting to be fed first).

Also, it is easier to say that one can rely on Amul or other local brands that local governments support.

The peculiarities of dealing with them has its own challenges.
This.. after assuming that the said entities can regularly cater to the inventory/supply demands.

haha😄, i once forwarded this short to my mother along with details of how someone who had worked there was telling us that yes it IS common for people to attend personal phone calls or not adhere to policies.
Higher ups or others too sometimes come in on the floor wearing shoes/footwear.

It can be and IS a non sterile environment, is what that person told us.
(Non sterile as in, people can be seen picking their nose or even have unclean bandages on their hand wounds and still work on the laddu making).

My mother simply went in denial mode.
She is like: no no. All laddus there are machine made, it is all clean.

Now i will have to video call her or somehow see her expressions to THIS (unsurprising for me) story.

Actually 'lard' is THE MOST common cooking fuel/ medium internationally.

And even internationally, pig fat still is amongst THE cheapest animal fat to procure.

Lard had become a controversy even for McDonald's or some such chain in India itself.. back when it was new/ we were in college.

I have not opened that link or looked this scandal up online yet
but.. if 'lard' has found its way in.. into the cooking fuel or ingredients of these items.. to me.. it is NOT AT ALL a surprise.

The only surprise is that some Kumbhakarna finally woke up
and noticed what was happening around.

Just last month, i had a not so positive experience with (Dabur India/ Burman family owned) Taco Bell outlet, where i had raajma chanwal and other tidbits.

Despite writing to "Yum! brands" USA and India.. nothing much came of it.

Yum! leaves everything upto the franchisee to handle.

Far from things getting addressed.. the only real thing that Dabur India/ Burmans did.. was to have the manager in that city call us and give us the usual scripted lines.
Yes your feedback is important, we will have this highlighted to our research team, we will recheck that kitchen/ outlet's process.

And then the chap offers to 'make it up' to us.. by expecting us to give Taco Bell India another chance.
I even gave an excuse that now I am back in another city
and the chap is like.. i can coordinate with my counterpart in that city and you can visit and try this that new product that we have launched.

And all that i am thinking is.. why would i want to even step back in there (even if complimentary).

If the likes of Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell (all owned by Yum!) have little fear of loosing face, then what can be expected of a super powerful, super rich trust like the one at Tirupati?

CM babu is most untrustworthy person. He called PM a terrorist. He is opportunist n cunning. He is namesake Hindu.

Now he is using and defaming Devine Prasadam to target political enemies.

Ohh wow... thats another POV of looking at the issue.

We can't deny the fact that politicians are always like that so yeah its possible.

Also the food safety deptt. is under state gov. so we won't know for sure.
