The Rajasthan government’s order banning the use of firecrackers.. is this good for sick people or bad for entire fireworks industry

The Rajasthan government’s order banning the use of firecrackers and the notice issued by the National Green Tribunal to the Centre, seeking its reply for a ban on crackers in the National Capital Region (NCR) during November, have shocked the fireworks hub here.

Good decision, Diwali is the festival of light…people have misinterpreted this thing for decades now…..good is to light diyas, put lanterns, spread love…that’s it.

So we should wait for our system fix?
ignoring the current situation?

Do you have friends or relatives who suffer from Asthma or other respiratory diseases?
If yes ask them how difficult it is during Diwali 🙄

They face difficulty on new year too but nobody bats an eye.

Yes, we only can fix the system by talking about real causes of pollution otherwise banning crackers will not stop rising pollution. Half hearted solutions are worst.

People preaching for ban don’t understand that main cause of pollution is not crackers but pm 2.5 etc , it just aggravates the situation for few days, which needs policy fixes Indians system ke has ki nahi hai. Meanwhile a huge industry suffers.

This is entirely not for pollution. It is because covid patients finds breathing difficult.

I wish telengana govt takes the same decision. I understand it’s loss for business, but they could still export to states like guj , up and make money

i guess major contributor to pollution is industry n crop burning….such decision hardly make any real difference..anyway cracker kharidne ke liye paise hi kaha bache hai

I don’t know bruh ,tbh there are a lot of things which cause pollution on daily basis and trouble to sick/ashthama patients ,maybe should have started from there ,it would create a larger impact.
