If their is no clause of buyback cancellation, go for it
Almost 50% returns. Have to wait for acceptance ratio. Btw I'm not into Buybacks. Can buy one in all accounts for minimum Acceptance ratio.

With buyback being taxable @ slab rate, I don't think it encourages people to apply, but then will have to calculate what's the return after taxes
With new buyback rules from Oct 1st 2024 , the buyback is dead because of new rule where buyback proceeds are taxed in the hands of the investor like dividend inccome
thats why flood of buyback now:)
after Oct 1 2024 there wont be much buyback here on
