Hello dimers ,

I am planning to get an cashback credit card. So I am exploring 2 options.
1. Hdfc millenia credit card
2, sbi cashback credit card

So far I have found the following:

1. Both having same joining and annual fee
2. Both have 5 % cashback on leading e commerce portals. Unlike hdfc sbi doesn't have any merchant restrictions.
3. Hdfc gives 1000 on 100000 spends in every quarter which sbi doesn't  offer.
4. Both having 1% offline cashback

It will helpful if someone who are already using above 2 cards help me with pros and cons.

Thanks in advance.

I am holding millinea, making 20k spends on 5% category merchant every month. Cashback is good so far. Cashback card I don't have. Rejected twice by sbi. If you can spend more than 20k per month go for SBI

SBI is better as it offers 5% on all merchant transaction except few. But it's difficult to get SBI card. Furthe, SBI card is chargeable, HDFC could be free of cost if you get offer. You also need bank account with HDFC to get the card.

If you don't get sbi cashback card then only go for HDFC millenia

We get cashback on millennia along with instant discount whereas sbi cashback will not give both. Moreover, its easy to get or convert millennia ltf whereas its difficult for sbi cashback card. Millennia gives cb for emi txn also.

Conclusion- if you will use card for your personal purposes mostly on brands covered by millennia and dont want to do rotation for 2-3% profit, then millennia is better.
