Suggestion Required: Roadmap to ICICI Credit Card
I currently hold Amazon Pay CC which is around 8 months old. The primary reason of getting apay cc was for platinum cc to get instant discount offers but icici stopped issuing plat on basis of apay.
I plan to make a purchase during 2025 Republic Day Sale so trying to gather icici cc, which may come in handy.
On Sat, I applied for Expressions CC via imobile and today its showing on the app. Now I have these options:
1) Call Customer Care and ask for closure of expression cc and wait for pre-approved offers.
2) Call CC and ask them to close expression and upgrade it to any other ltf card (idk if they allow this)
3) Pay charges of expression cc and use it till Jan n then close it (not sure whether there'll be offers on icici)
4) Close expression cc and apply for mmt platinum and pay one time fees (will there be any cooling period in my case and approval chances)
PS: Just need ICICI cc for instant discount, I have other cc for my needs. Also, can't furnish income docs.

Fees not charged for expression, I haven't activated it yet.
Bro if you need ICICI CC just to get instant discounts during the sale and not be bothered about paying the fee, you can continue using Expressions which will work for sales. If you want an LTF card, there are two options
• Close expressions and wait for pre approved LTF Coral Rupay
• Upgrade to MMT card after 3 months and pay one time fee
Ask for upgrade expression cc?
