Kainchi Dham Darshan - Best way to reach Kainchi Dham from Nainital via Delhi?

I'll be visiting Kainchi Dham via Delhi and Nainital with family.

Can someone guide what would be the best and comfortable way to travel within budget. Any pointers would help. Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking of taking bus from Delhi at night, will reach Nainital in the morning and then check-in at hotel by 11 AM or 12 noon (haven't booked it yet) and then as soon as possible, take a bath, have something to eat and rush for Kainchi Dham.
All of this will consume sometime and I've no idea if darshan would be possible if we leave by 1 PM from Nainital and it should be done on that day only or max. on next day as we've to reach Ramnagar on the next day by 12 PM - 1 PM which again would be a task in itself if I leave darshan on the next day.

Those who've an idea about this, please please help me out.

UPDATE (19-Nov-2024) :

I visited Kainchi Dham recently and sharing a few tips.

I had taken bus from Delhi to Nainital and stayed at Mall Road in Nainital. There are buses available directly for Kainchi Dham from Delhi as well.

Nearest railway station is Kathgodam and prior to that is Haldwani which is merely 5-6 kms before Kathgodam. One can even get down at Haldwani, take a rented scooter (scooty) and explore Nainital, Kainchi Dham etc.
Since roads are narrow from Kathgodam, most of the buses will drop you at Haldwani or Kathgodam and from there, they'll drop you in a non A/C taxi.

We took a cab to and from our hotel in Nainital to Kainchi Dham which took Rs. 1,500 for approx. 38-40 kms ride in total with a wait time of 1-2 hours. The official rate fixed by RTO is Rs. 18/km in plain area and Rs. 18.5/km in hilly area and wait time charges at Rs. 200/hour and going by this calculation, the rates will always be higher but that should give you some sense how much extra one can pay as they'll quote anything.

In Drive works there, so, the best way I found was to create a ride on In Drive, the driver will directly connect with you over call and then negotiate.

Hope this helps!
