My father has high sugar. I had previously purchased accu check but it has very high cost of per strip.
Can someone who has this can suggest me one where strip cost is less and has accurate reading?

I use Accu-Chek Guide Blood Glucose Glucometer.
May be slightly on expensive side but good product and good accuracy.

Have been using the older version of this - Contour Plus One and working great since last 3-4 years now and is also accurate.
Go for Jan Aushadhi, machine and strip both are cheaper
@adifrank Nothing can give you correct numbers, there will always be a difference. IMO get Dr. Morepen Blood Sugar Glucose Monitor with 50 Test Strips. This machine will cost 550-650 with 50 strips and usually strip cost 10-12rupees. The cheapest one from the slot of availability.
If this is initial days, you should get continuous sensor based monitor device (CGM) which cost around 2k. Get it locally so that they can set and demo at the same time. Once, you and your doctor will get enough data of your DAD's actual sugar levels, they will give medicine accordingly which in real life will decrease the sugar level and you don't need to regularly check for his sugar levels.
