It would have been good if you mentioned your budget but for a beginner dobsonian is a preferred choice to get familiar with the night sky because of its price vs performance ratio..and its always recommended to buy the biggest aperture in your budget but definitely keep in mind the portability as larger tubes tend to be heavy. While you can also start with a EQ mount but the cheaper ones are usually crap which tend to be unstable. In dobsonian you may consider the Celestron Starsense series, or a suitable model from Explore scientific, GSO fitting your budget. Don’t forget to buy some acceptable quality eyepieces and a barlow..I would suggest to look for the SV Bony eyepieces or Celestron omni series if you are on a budget. Tejraj is a reputed seller based in Mumbai. You can browse their website and contact them.

That would be difficult because the budget is low. Dobsonians are out as they are expensive. So we are just left with the basic newtonians and refractors. Newtonians in this range usually have spherical mirror which is not ideal for visual astronomy but the budget of Rs 20,000 can only get you so far. I would advise you to see the Celestron StarSense LT 80AZ Telescope or Celestron StarSense LT 114AZ Telescope. These have ok ok review on Cloudynights & Stargazers Lounge. As I said the tripod/mount maybe be finicky. Some have recommended Meade refractors in 200-300$ Range. Surf the tejraj site and search for reviews on the forums I mentioned above. Lastly these will be good only for the lunar and planetary observing but good enough to get you started.

If you are a student then I can understand but It would be good if you manage to get yourself a dobsonian by extending your budget. Yes one con of having a dobsonian or a newtonian to say is you may have to perform collimation/alignment of the optics in regular time. Also search India specific FB astro groups if someone is selling preowned.
