LTA can be claimed only by submitting travel expenses via employer only. I don't think it can be claimed doing tax returns on our own. If claimed high chances of a notice

I mean to say like I am actually ready to pay for someone's travel tickets, etc. And lose a little money in the process.

How can it be legitimate in this day and age of surveillance?
Suppose if some agents or hotels do give fake bookings and stay receipts,
still if one shows air-travel, train travel
then can one replicate the physical presence at the required locations?
Would the devices (phones, tablets, laptops) not give away the reality, if an investigation is done?
Everywhere there are surveillance cameras.
Would one be able to come clean if anyone, someone cross checks?
Suppose I am the hotel owner and I take the GST component in cash, from you.
Someone else gives you fake receipts for travel by road
let us say you booked an Innova and thus norsilways, airport CCTV or actual seat occupancy issues.
Still, would not the highway cameras need to record that the licence plate XYZ 1234 was detected on a route?
Ditto for the GSM cell signals?
Still if you want to do it, then there ARE dedicated syndicates.. since decades, helping PSU employees do what you are asking for.
