(Strange Issue) Not able to place Order on AMAZON - after selecting payment method and clicking on continue its browsing to same 'select payment method' again and unable to confirm or pay Order

Its happening to me with all cards & and all payment methods
Did you try using a different device to place the order? If not, give it a try.
I tried in browser and app still the same issue. Different device didn’t try at all as I don’t wanted to take the risk with AZ (its my only personal account).
Try logout + login / try incognito mode ( Browser )
Clear App data/Uninstall and try logging in again ( Android/iOS )
If your account got blocked/suspended, then you won’t be able to login post logout/clearing app data (Wrong password error*)
^^ You will stay logged in for a while but orders placed will get auto-cancelled
If this doesn’t work, then contact amazon support ( Again.. this won’t work if they blocked your account )

Yes, I just had call with CC and they are saying account is active and fine.
Try deleting all saved cards and retry
Happened with me as well, I tried different browser, incognito, app logout, clear cache etc however nothing worked but suddenly account started working again in approx 15 days.
The only reason I can think off is I placed too many orders during and they had put my account on cool off period. I didn’t contact support as I had another prime account.

For me its almost more than 3 weeks same problem. But, not placed more than 1 order max per month in an average/year

Tried same few mins back.. still the same.
Also tried in diff. browser (crome,opera etc) but still no luck and not able to use any CB offers.
Try deleting all saved credit card and debit card than place the order

Same issue, just use another account, this account will take some time, it is Amazon way of telling you to slow down on orders
I can order all products excepts mobiles
They want us to earn 40k diamonds for 10k cashback and when we place orders,they block it..

Solved: I changed the settings related to tokenization in the bank application. And also the card in amazon application and add again
I am also facing same issue. I m able to place any item order until cart value 2999rs. But same payment issue if cart value 3000rs or more of any item/any address/any payment method. Cc is clueless as always. Jeff team called me back and said they will revert back. But no resolution yet since last 1 week b

This is a technical issue within Amaxon's system. I don't think we can do anything by clearing cache, or using some scrubber software. Its not your cellphone nor your laptop or the browsers.
Since this is a technical issue at Amazons end, asking their helpdesk to call and explaning this situation and getting a technical problem ticket is the way to go.
They will clear it, and frankly, despite being in the field of technology, I have no idea what has messed up the process in their gigantic software machine.
Then hope that they address it and you can order - and I believe they will, that faith I have in Amazon. If under time pressure... open another account (nothing illegal, you are using another legal email for legal work), or go to a competitor website.
If you have funds in Amazon Pay, hope they react fast as you can then use your own funds, or use it to pay other services, like Uber or food delivery. I am giving them 24 huors before going to their competition for the orders.
Thats the only solution, the Amazon Helpdesk told me, after mailing me the ticket number. So, don't break your head, pass the problem to Amazon and relax. You cannot solve it.

The solution is that, order directly from product page by clicking buy now button instead of adding product in cart before checkout
well, my order was placed. amount was deducted, but amazon says they haven't received the payment.
We are unable to place oder on Amazon since 15th June afternoon.
Tried all payment options and also mobile App.
Nothing is helping.
Same happend with me with rupay card, then i have tried upi, it worked well.
