Both are available at same price range. Which is best? No gaming. Only content watching. Need better upscaling for SD channels. Otherwise everything else will be either 1080p or 4K. Need the best picture and sound quality. If any other lower priced better options are available please suggest too.

Lg oled is way better than sony x90L. I bought lg oled c2 last year after physical comparison in quality at store. Better upscaling, color in lg. Sony has google os which takes time at startup and even while operating. LG has its own OS which is optimised and lighter just like apple. Its apps are very low in size thus load faster and smoother. Magic remote is plus, moreover 5 year software update guarantees smoother experience.
And yes don't buy online. Go to physical store either LG store, reliance digital, Croma and others. You get better bargain price with card discounts.
