Ok so we had booked grand Hyatt Goa hotel from Goibibo website and paid more than rs 1 lakh so apparently just 3 hrs before our check-in we called up the hotel and asked them whether we could get a early check in or no and guess what? We got to know that Goibibo had cheated us and not sent the voucher/booking confirmation to the hotel our booking didn’t exist in hotels database even though we had already paid for it we called up Goibibo support and talked to them for several hours all they could say is kindly wait we are resolving the issue we even called up grand Hyatt but they said they aren’t able to retrieve the booking we did over 10 calls we even told them to relocate us to st Regis or taj exotica but they never did that and finally we decided to go to grand Hyatt to resolve the issue there we got to know that Goibibo had already relocated us to Alila diwa hotel which is much cheaper than grand Hyatt since grand Hyatt is a 5 star hotel their managers were good and they helped us out in the issue they pressurised Goibibo to refund our money and finally we did get our refund

After being stranded for about 4 hours finally we got our refund and they offered us to give a voucher for ₹3000 like the amount of trauma they had caused us and the amount of trouble we went through was unplayable in any way probably the most terrible experience we’ve ever had in our trip I think if we would’ve not visited grand Hyatt that day we would’ve probably ended up loosing more than 1 lakh rupees cuz if the manager hadn’t pressurised them to refund the money they would’ve just kept us stranded and make up some story and not refund our money
