Ideally, lockdown should continue. Corona doesnt have the expiry date of 14th that it will magically disappear on that day. Removal of lockdown will undo whatever was achieved of this lockdown.

But, I dont think lockdown will continue. The impact it is having on a densely populated country like ours, with middle class and poor suffering badly, and the industries, economy everything taking a big hit. Neither the govt nor the people can afford prolonged lockdowns, this is the truth we all have to accept. If more people start dying of hunger than corona, that defeats the whole purpose, isnt it?

Now, what could be done? I dont know. But retrospectively, better planning and measures could have been taken. If international flights restriction and strict screening+quarantine from January-Feb itself, we wouldnt have been in this situation at all. Everything is closed right now, including the flights. So if only flights could be closed, the rest of things could have been open, in a better managed way. Even the lockdown was not done with proper planning and support.

I think, irrespective of one’s political affiliations, everyone needs to accept that this 8 PM sudden announcements to implement things from 12 midnight, is definitely not the right way of doing things. We have seen that in the past, we are seeing that right now as well. This stubborn-ness and denial of responsibility is costing lives and economy.

Importing people from other countries should stop (pehlehi nhi late to itni naubat ni ati. He baghwan mereko bhot sara pesa de taki meri bhi aesh ho ske. Gunah passport ka tha aur bhugtna pda reshn card walo ko. Aur mro tum grib logo.)

With incidents like Nizamuddin one can only pray the lockdown continues post Apr 14. Let’s see.

How about the districts which had lesser cases of corona will get some freedom? May be few states too.. So basically if you maintain lockdown, it will be lifted, otherwise be in a perpetual lockeddown state.

If lock down isnt extended all efforts of previous 21 days would go waste, and this coronavirus will than spread to millions of indians and than further indefinete lockdown would be needed, just my view.

I hope it ends soon. Too much inconvenience to people.

Lockdown will definitely end on 14th April,

With the amount and quality of PPE supplied to doctors, All doctors and healthcare staff will be infected by 14th. No more doctors, no more tests and problem solved!

If lockdown ends whole country would be finished

Ideally India should have stopped international flights much earlier. Imports goods should have been sanitised properly, I believe that would have had happen than India could have avoided lockdown. It would have much lesser impact on economy and livelihood.

we’re not testing enough at all! even 7k testing per day at UK is getting criticism and what about us?!! anyone that points out is called anti national, tukde this that, etc.
p.s. doctors at some assam district hospitals are taking leaves and are also ready to quit their jobs at quarantine centres bcz they’re not getting any protective gears! its a complete suicide for them.
