I bought an Elgi Ultra Dura+ grinder from snap deal. I received the delivery with a worn out box. When asked, it was told that the box was damaged in the transit and that it is a fresh piece. But the serial no. on the grinder and the serial no. on the box are totally different and from different batch. Also the handle of the grinder was broken. I filed for a refund request and was asked to send the images. I have already sent the images 7 times(showing the torm box, torn thermocols inside, the difference in serial no.); Even now, the snapdeal replies back asking for images. What else proof do they want. They have sent me a display piece packed in a different cover and they are not ready to accept it. They have not even initiated a return pickup after 7 days. I have bought things online before from flipkart. But I have never had a horrible experience like this. If it was flipkart, I would have recieved my refund by now, Snapdeal is customer care is dummy. Its one clik refund is bull shit. The customer care has not information on the status , They only say its forwarder to some team. Each representative give contradictory status information about my issue. There is no actual status update either on the website in our login OR a written email saying atleast ‘Issue is being processed. All images recieved’. Each time , when i call , they say some image is not proper and give that as a reason for the dealy. I Dont know what else image to send now.
For the small discount they have given, I have spent more time, energy and money on repeated phone calls to the customer care.
I am not sure , How long I will have to struggle to get my money back.
