Know the market is flooded with smart watches and ppl bought them and using. I bought a few 2yrs back ( not apple) and now 4 of them dead with one or other problems. No parts available. A few months back I bought m, exchanged one of them with , Samsung watch 4. Bought this watch after seeing a lot of reviews where ppl said it’s not just another smartwatch, but health watch with 95% accurate pedometer, BP monitor, etc etc. even they measured with actual instruments.
it looked better and I bought. I calibrated the watch with actual instruments.
After thoroughly using for 3 months I can say it’s another smartwatch that’s all. Use it to change dials, receive notifications and make calls that’s all.
Ghost steps, wrong health monitoring and worst part heart rate after a few steps it says above 120.
Overall , my feeling is I would have bought a few good normal watches of casio with this money and bought health instruments separately.
like the rule of insurance don’t mix investment and insurance we should not mix smartwatches and health.
Anyone has different opinion or more points , pls do guide

Bro apples connectivity is unmatched. My friend has Samsung watch but he complains about connection drop lags and unreliable fitness scores. Try apple cellulwr watch
One of my friend always used to say
‘Samsung watches are just watches, Apple Watches are bi***es”. They look attractive from far away.
buy casio gshock and be happy ,smart watches are annoying one more thing to charge everyday
Correct. Unless one has a compelling reason, smart watches are annoying.
I don't know which sources you accessed that deemed Samsung Watches are accurate but in reality they are anything but. Apple Watches are the gold standard closely followed by Pixel Watches from 2nd gen. onwards. Because Pixel Watches cannot be repaired and battery life is short (not that Apple does much better) it's not as attractive. Spending 18k for a product that may only be useful for 3-4 years isn't palatable in my case. Huawei Watch GT 5 was available for Rs 13k, warranty and aftersales concerns aside it's very good in terms of accuracy barring Sleep stages monitoring and battery life at 6-10 days is outstanding. However ECG is only available in the Pro version which is significantly more expensive. Fitbit Charge 6 gets close to the Pixel Watch 2 but it's not durable unfortunately. HR monitoring in recent Garmin Watches is finally enhanced though there is still room for improvement and other than their higher prices they are very good.
At under 10k only Huawei bands, if available in India, are the only viable option. OP2 Watch is very good in terms of battery life but sub-par in terms of accuracy. At 5k or lower Xiaomi bands are better in terms of accuracy but only because their competitors are so poor.
P.S. If the fit isn't near perfect the accuracy will suffer. Also Google cadence lock. Skin tones also matter when it comes to PPG sensors.
However, after using and reading all, the besty is buy health instruments that are near to accuracy costs less and buy normal watches for time. Thats was what i want to say
I'm a watch guy. I know a thing or two about watches.
Smart watch -- Bought one, Moto 360 Gen2. Using it since 2017. Still in great shape. Back then I was on Android, Samsung Galaxy and Note series devices.
Moved to Automatic Watch, Swiss, Tissot Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80. Great watch.
Then bought a Fitbit Charge 5 -- I can wear this 24/7!!
So, long story short, all you need is a good health/fitness band (Fitbit/Garmin) and a good watch (Titan/Timex/Casio/Seiko) as a budget buy. I won't touch the 'fashion' brands.
Watches has capacity for navigation + call + camera + fitness + bp + oxygen level + messages + QR code + many more, but if someone seriously want to use. Just purchasing any features rich product bydefult does not make it useful.
