Hello Guys,

Need some advice regarding SIP's. I don't know much about sip's n all but on suggestions of parents, relatives etc started these 4 sip's for my 2.5 years old daughter.

I don't know much about them but saw them on phonepe app and some reel so started the 1st one (hdfc small cap) in Feb this year and the other 3 today.

Read some comments n been thru some posts and accordingly took them all for 3 years  but not sure whether I choose the right ones etc etc. Any suggestions, advice etc will be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance😊

Are these Direct growth funds or Regular funds. If regular, immediately exit from them. And move to any discount broker like Zerodha, Groww, Indmoney.

In terms of Allocation, since the term of investment is long. My suggestion would be

Large cap - 50%

Midcap - 25%

Small Cap - 25%

Some investment in gold either through ETF or bullion is advisable along with it.

Stay with large cap for beginners. Low return low risk.

Can look for mid cap if moderate risk and better returns but holding period should be long.

Small cap usually test patience coz they rise faster and fall faster. So hv small allocation to these coz risk is even more

If they are direct funds not regular funds, all these are reputable funds. Go ahead. Just don't panic and withdraw everytime you see the portfolio in red.

If you do that, you will have a nice college fund by the time she is ready.

I think phonepe has regular funds.

Always go for direct over regular

Open an account with Zerodha & start investing via it.
