It is IP TV but not many required channels , basically using sim internet without wifi i guess
Andriod box is better with WIFI and unltd channels and movies.

you can better purchase andriod box with 4GB if you want to play any games

I don’t know about IPTV but as per my knowledge free channels with less data usage must be using CCCAM. Google for more details

You will need high speed internet and it will drink data alot.

Fire stick + Thop + fibre connection = all channels, web Series, movies available .

Go simple.why complicate things

These DVB-S2 satellite receivers are worthless IMO ( Never used them )
If the quality of device is good then you can view free channels but the paid channels (legal/illegal) are not free

You have to buy cccam from online ilegal website, around 150/year. internet uses will 30-50mb only.

Note- I used it around 3 years, now moved to firestick with local broadband.

I am using this kind of STB Gtmedia V8 & GTC. If data mentioned is 200-250 mb, then its CCCAM. You will get Dish tv SD channels / Airtel HD channels. Charges will be 200-300 per year.
But I dont recommend buying it. It need very low ping connection, 2G/ 3G have very high ping. So you will definately get freeze / pauses during play. Like 15sec play, then 1-2 second gap, which is in best case scenerio. With 2G/3g ,you will get 15 second play, then 20-30 second freeze. I dont use it even I have CCCAM for 2 years.

Better buy 2gb or above Android Set top box. Install Thop Tv. Atleast play back will be smooth and continuous in morning and afternoon.

Desis living abroad use these kind of internet based card sharing settop boxes to watch desi channels in tv there.. but I am surprised about using just 200-300mb data per month..

Can someone suggest a cheap and best android box based on personal usage?
Only requirement is hotstar, prime video, YouTube and live channels..
Many YouTube videos are suggesting boxes of 1500₹ to 2k rates.. are they reliable..?
Also what is the minimum internet speeds required to run these boxes?
Are they cheaper online or in local markets?

Its money waste bro.
Channels will freeze a lot. You will not be able to get a perfect non freezing line.
But if u can adjust a bit then its ok for you.
Almost all channels will work , sometimes hd also ( worked in past)
