I am trying to watch the new ramayan on Sony which was supposed to start from today 9pm.
But it is not visible on Sony liv. Why? And how to watch it?

Yes. Sony LIV stopped showing live channels. So when they update the content on app we will be able to see it.

I think the Sony TV are playing very smart, forcing viewers to watch their new shows on TV only, starting from January 1 onwards. That's why no promotion of the show happened on Sony LIV app. Don't get your hopes high up, no episode of Shrimad Ramayan, or any show starting from January 1 will come on Sony LIV. I think this is a completely wrong approach, as it will hurt the career prospects of actors working in these shows, labelling them as merely "TV actors". which is quite common these days. However, I will be more than happy if I am proven wrong. Viewers should not be forced to take new cable connection for TV to watch new shows, after all they are already paying for internet plan and OTT subscription. But I have no hopes from today morning, as I have understood their conspiracy behind this move.

Sony Liv doesn't have rights for Shrimad Ramayan and it is only available on DTH, not on OTT. Jio has confirmed this and don't expect to watch it on Sony liv

Nope. Grammatically Srimadramayana is correct but common people rarely use it.
I have heard sermons by learnt gurus, saying something like
" Srimadramayane ... sundarakande ... samaptaha" which means sermon about Sundarkanda from Srimadramana is completed.
