Dosa khaaoge bro ..?

https://www.timesnownews.com/business-economy/i...

Naveen Kopparam, a social media user, revealed on platform X that a dosa vendor near his home earns Rs 20,000 daily, amounting to Rs 6 lakh a month. After deducting expenses, the vendor reportedly takes home Rs 3-3.5 lakh monthly.
The recent example shared on social media has ignited discussions about earnings disparities and tax obligations in India. The post has gone viral, sparking discussions about the challenges and advantages of salaried jobs versus self-employment.

@dosa you might be crazy rich huh?? 😜

There are many people like this....in Hyderabad abids...some mobile repair persons earn 15,000  daily on another average.... I have replaced screens many time.

Many business like this...they take cash for repair .etc.... incash economy you can't bring them into income tax slabs.... They also use 5-6 persons upi IDs...you know all family members... So no way to track them...unless all customers ask proper GST bill.

unfortunately from now, he will end up paying taxes thanks to this social media viral scene - if this happens then I feel he is the most unlucky person as normally we have heard of people screwing their lives via social media but here others' social media usage is screwing his life 😀

you are sooooooo right!

After Vladimir Mitroshka, if anyone is truly deserving of living off of your, my tax payments.. it is this entrepreneur.

Henceforth, I hope to pay excess taxes than what even the rules say.. so that the freeloaders can be given good roads, Z-plus protection when they roll-back on their 'mujhe fadak nahin padta' stance, good medical care facilities, judiciary, law enforcement, social security, food security and ALL the other benefits from the state exchequer.

You are SPOT ON.. about it being 'unfortunate' that some people have to adhere to the law of the land and not get to live life king sized (like Vladimir Mitroshka).. when there ARE people laboratory chimps likes us.. ready to foot their bill too.

Wanted to tag those who reacted to your comment, but I can hope that they see mine, without me tagging them.

Good for him. But anecdotal cases dont define a population. There's lakhs of roadside eateries and other vendors who brave the elements all day to earn a meager living.

Wonder if he really gets 500 customers a day if he sells one dosa for Rs 40, that's like 50 customers every hour for a 10 hour work day. Seems a bit too much on a consistent basis

Only solution is completely remove cash . Remove all the notes and coins from circulation . That will make every transaction completely white and transperent. Otherwise no way to stop  black money and black market in India.

i always had suspected that these small food vendors , small shop owner earns huge and also tax saving also the wealth then flows in family unlike salaried class

met a wholesale grocery owner here in delhi who earns 7 lakh/month i was amazed on his 84 lakh /year package

i think this is the main reason why many btech/mba guys open small shop
