sbi yono app has started giving free virtual cards. few questions
- can any number of cards be generated from visa/mastercard/rupay and then closed without any cost?
- will the rupay card come with platinum variant?
- what are the online/offline limits for these cards?
- can cash be withdrawn using this virtual card by entering virtual number in atm machine? sbi yono also has the option to withdraw cash using just otp. does it require otp?

there is no point in paying for a debit card if these options are there.

" can any number of cards be generated from visa/mastercard/rupay and then closed without any cost?"

You can choose one, if you want another, you can disable the previous card and activate new one.

- will the rupay card come with platinum variant?

No, only global variant.

- what are the online/offline limits for these cards?

Don't know how this can be used offline(technically card no. Can be input into a POS machine, but no merchant will do this for you or know how.)

If you have the yono app, I think you can.

I don't personally use them, just what I gathered.

Will the virtual card issued to the customer be exactly equivalent to the physical card they possess? Suppose a customer has a physical Visa Global card..can they get a virtual Rupay Platinum card and still keep their physical Visa Global card?

While applying Virtual debit card via Yono app, at the last step, after entering OTP...I'm getting error as 'This facility is currently not available for this account'.

I have closed Physical card last year, is it the reason for the error ? @abhishek012
