SBI now issuing virtual debit card

Some new TABs are added in YONO app. Under "My Debit Cards" TAB we can now generate Virtual Debit card at free of cost (time between 8am to 8pm). Also initiated request for new physical debit card from there. "My prepaid cards" option is there also.

I wish there was an option to generate the same through net banking!

If the virtual one works as good as physical, I am sure many would dump their physical cards.

Working fine. Already generated virtual card. No issuance charge as well as no annual charge. Very easy process.

I generated my virtual card today and deactivated my physical debit card. As the usage is minimal, I thought of avoiding the annual charges. Incidentally, the closed debit card is about to complete a year - I got it last November. I hope I won't be charged for it!
