SBI credit card applied without my knowledge

In August i applied for sbi bpcl credit card but at that time the application got rejected due to low cibil score . After that I didn’t do anything .
But today I received a message saying that my Credit card application got rejected. But how ? I didn’t applied for any credit card . And after few hours I received a email also, in that mail it says my sbi air india platinum credit card application rejected.
Why this happening ?
Will this affect my cibil ?
How to solve this issue .

How you applied ? Through agent or direct from website ?

Yes, one girl from team lease company processed my cc application
send a mail to your customer care team regarding that, and if you have that agent’s number ask him whether he applied for credit card in your name or not, Register FIR for identity theft in the police telling someone misused my government documents and tried to generate credit card on your name.
Happened same in march I think.. I wrote a mail and they asked time till June.. later when I didn’t get update I followed up and they replied that in Jan you had applied for 2 applications 1 was approved and 1 was rejected.. the second one was this.. I don’t remember applying twice I denied but they wont budge
6 months back agent tricked me for applying I stopped before cibil enquiry now, yesterday I received the sms so it must be the same culprit
Agents do this tricks for fulfilling their targets i think
Any way to stop this ?
if you know the details of the agent, call that person and inform that you are filing an FIR for fraud
Same thing happened with me I got today multiple sms from Tata SBI card I don’t what the hell is this?
