I think it is for saving tokenised credit card details in merchant app/site

Visa provisioning charge is a zero-amount verification fee that Visa uses to confirm cardholder information.

In other words, it is a 0 amount assessment that gets charged to the credit card statement in order to confirm that the cardholder information provided is correct. This protects the cardholder from their card being used fraudulently

In place of exposing your card number, this security measure replaces it with another identifier known as a token

This token allows merchants to process your payment without ever compromising your unique card details

This is nothing that you need to be concerned about. The line item may appear in statement , but no direct charges comes along with it & might as well drop off from statements in few days

Every now and then these kind of transactions appear and disappear in SBI card. Don't bother unless it is an actual debit other than 0

So weird seeing it only in this card and not other visa cards. So there is a chance they will stop putting this in the Statement.
