RuPay Platinum Debit Card - Lounge access devalued:
RuPay Platinum Debit Lounge program will be effective from quarter starting 1st July 2024.
In the RuPay Steering Committee (SC) Meeting held on 28th May 2024, the updated proposition for RuPay Platinum Debit Card was discussed and the SC endorsed the following:
1 (one) Domestic Airport lounge access per quarter.
Issuers shall communicate the updated Lounge program to the card holders through bank's communication channels including but not limited to, welcome kits, e-mails, SMS, and website.
Note - some banks are already offer 1 (one) Domestic Airport lounge access per quarter and some banks dnt offer any Domestic Airport lounge access.

few days before used AU platinum DC twice in Mumbai and Delhi, main advantage is there is no spend criteria. now, that hope also gone! coming days we have to see more of such devaluations. feeling more sad for missing chance and feeling little better as this may improve the quality and variety of facilities.

Extremely annoyed with AU. I took AU Digital Savings Account last week and alarming devaluation all over. They have increased Debit Card fees, ATM charges, IMPS charges

During initial days, AU gave me a frozen read-only savings account. I am slowly recovering from all these mess, I am afraid Airport lounge will also be taken away. I regret joining AU Bank.

-but if while taking the card it was mentioned in T&C of 2 access/qtr/domestic/international ,cold i approach the RBI ombudsmen for T&C violation as i got credit card from bank ,if rupay network can not hold there T&C they sud provide me with alternative

Did you forget to read these lines in T&C?
The Bank reserves the right to revise features / eligibility criteria / services / fees /policies / program benefits offered on the card and alter these Terms and Conditions from time to time and may notify the cardholder of any such alteration in any manner. The Bank may introduce new services from time to time. The existence and availability of the new functions will be notified to the cardholder as and when they become available. The changed Terms and Conditions applicable to the new services shall be communicated to the cardholder. By using these new services, the cardholder agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions applicable.

Lounge access on AU bank gone
Effective 1st July 2024, the complimentary lounge access benefit for AU RuPay Platinum International Debit Card users will be discontinued. We understand that this benefit has been a valued feature, and we regret any inconvenience this change may cause. You can still access lounges with your AU RuPay Debit Card on a chargeable basis. You may also consider upgrading to an AU Royale Savings Account where you get 2* complimentary lounge access per calendar quarter along with other offers.
