Good news. I hope other banks will soon implement this for their RuPay CC also.
Need this in Samsung Pay, too

Rupay is like Apple.
Brings everything years later, treats it like a revolution.
This applies to everything.
Take processor architecture, for example. In all the IITs in India, none of them teach how processors are actually made in the real world because the architecture patents are held by Intel, AMD, and ARM.
IIT professors just give a basic idea, but even they don't really know how processors are actually built.
But thanks to RISC-V, at least now IITs can show students how to build processor architecture in the real world.
Similarly, if Indian engineers do an internship with NPCI, they will at least get an idea of how Tap & Pay works and how is built in the real world.
Is it working for selected user for now ?
I am not able to add ..
What advantage does this have over UPI. We can anyway link RuPay CC to GPay and pay via QR or UPI ID. Scanning QR replaced with tap rest all is same but not all basic phones have NFC. Last time I saw someone pay with NFC tag was in 2012 in UK. It took us 12 yrs to develop our own 😱
Is it UPI tap pay
Or
Bharat QR like visa mc
Nice 👍
Kotak is sending me emails and messages for tap & pay offer on my Kotak everyday Rupay DB from the last three weeks and they're putting Visa offer eligibility link on the SMS and email. I was wondering how Rupay cards will have this offer eligibility, now I know Rupay has launched their offer too.
Very nice
@abhishek012 Please maintain a list of supported cards for RuPay Tap and Pay!
@abhishek012 Why livquik card not getting added to GPay it's showing pop up that not a valid card

The person from NPCI became emotional. He is saying that this project started 5 years ago. They had no idea what to do and what not to do.
This is the same thing I try to explain to you everytime, but you don't understand.
Before today or 5 years ago, no Indian engineers had worked on things like Tap & Pay.
NPCI laid the foundation for this technology.
Because before today, the Tap & Pay technology used by Visa, MasterCard, etc. was patent by Visa/mastercard.
No one knows what Visa's source codes are. Even those who know can't use it because Visa holds the patent for it.
This applies to everything.
