You didn’t read my previous post clearly. I’ve mentioned that honey does crystallise but not this much. It has just turned into sugar. Moreover i had brought some 50 ml honey from my native place some 2 years ago. Opened it 2 days ago and it is in same liquid condition as it was.
http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/unhealthy-bi... I have tried Safa summer blossom honey which costs 200 for 500 gms. It is very good honey and have good reviews on Amazon. Patanjali honey cost just 120 for 500gms which is very very cheap. But I don’t know whether it is worth to buy. Anymore reviews on Patanjali honey? Also I have tried patanjali dantkanti toothpaste and I didn’t like it. I prefer Dabur red over any toothpaste in India

Buy the one sold by the Co- optex rather than businesses. I use Javadu honey sold in company which is much much much better when compared to jaggery water a.k.a honey sold by the most trusted brand of India, Dabur. Though I love their red toothpaste which made me to move from Amway Glister.
About ghee :
Please go the nearest supermarket and buy the fresh butter. Even though they put 6 months validity, buy only if it’s less than a month. Make a ghee in home. Nothing matches this taste. It’s nearly same as what you get from a homemade fresh butter.
Honey:
Pure honey will never ever ever crystallize. Not even slightest. Even if you keep for years. Try to buy from someone who can acquire from village. Even there people cheat by mixing with honey bees nest and sugar.
Patanjali ayurveda products are good. But don’t buy fmcg products from them thinking they are ayurvedic. Buy them if you like them just like any other fmcg company. Look at each individual product. If you like what it contains buy it.
Considering them Indian is not exactly the best way to think. Even other fmcg companies source items from India. Create jobs in India. Pay taxes in India. Only small portion of revenue leaves India as royalty.
I have bought and seen Ramdev’s yoga DVD. But buying fmcg products for his name is like watching bhimsen joshi dance because he is famous.

Don’t buy any of those from any brand. Once I used pure TRIBULUS TERRESTRIS in raw powdered form, nothing happened. Once tried Now foods ZMA (which is rated quite high on Bodybuilding.com) nothing happened. It’s all bullshit.
For increasing testosterone, eat more nuts, eggs, maybe zinc supplement can help. Eat well, sleep good. Lower the weights and increase the reps, do some cardio. High reps and cardio works wonders for me.
How old are you? Have a doctor diagnosed you with low T? If you are not above 35 and not diagnosed with lower T then you don’t need any supplement.
Think this suits more here than this… https://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online...

Saw advertisement of Dabur honey, which claims their honey is fssai approved. Patanjali is not. There is no Marka. Is it good or bad?
How to test honey purity. Some one told me to freeze it. Pure will remain as it is.
Bought Baba Ramdev Patanjali Detergent Powder With Herbs Anti Bacterial Neem Fresh Rose Fragrance 1 Kg from big bazaar and using it for a month and it found to be good. Give good fragrance and foam and soft on clothes.
And it’s the cheapest available detergent in India at present if u buy the 2kg variant.
All hail Babaji for saving us from becoming bankrupt buying the American brands like Surf and Ariel.

@sukant1989 wrote: Only himalaya is good in ayurvedic medicineSukant, I can only hope that it was a generic half hearted comment and not a real observation, based on which you buy or consume these (or any other) mass marketed drug or edible product or medication (be it for topical use or for ingestion).
i mean these are strange times. even Chanel N°5 can become subservient to Fogg (kitna body pe lagaya, kitna gas mei udaya).
But trust me, it is not ONLY those national level brands (be it FMCG or any other thing) that go for an expansive ‘in your face’ campaign that are good.
more often than not, it is the niche operating or smaller or the regional guys that still focus on the product or quality rather than the balance sheet and goodwill valuations.
have you heard the name of Dhootpapeshwar. I hold not direct or indirect interest in it, but purely from the point of view of certain ‘really ayurvedic’ medication/ formulations: i /our acquaintances have found it to be good.
The ‘fad’ of selling anything and everything under ‘ayurvedic’ or ‘herbal’ is a sad one. But it is also an easy way to grow manifold. (imagine, even if 10-15% of the ageing populations of Europe or Americas have the power to pay and willingness to try all these alternative treatment methods, then how big a potential market it is for one to aspire capturing).
BCC: my personal apologies for coming across as uncouth that day w.r.t. my cribbingssss over the
Sukant, at the risk of sounding like Shri @koushik (fault finding and cursing almost everything or every business) , i still do hope you find out what Cayman Islands are famous for.
it is relevant in the present context because HDC was mostly a pharmaceutical (old worldly company) till the blitzkrieg in late 1990s.
their last major outing as a plain Jane pharma Co. was in 1998-1999 in the tax heaven (places famous for money laundering) of Cayman Islands,
where they had an ongoing business so to speak: of distributing/selling medications for animals (mostly bovine drugs or formulations).
If I recollect it correctly, (i read) It was around this time that the phirang headhoncho too was brought onboard.
It was decided to dabble in the personal care space while milking the ‘fad’ of Ayurved.
Thus just before the start of this millennium they went into a blitzkrieg of a campaign to launch ‘Ayurvedic Concepts’
[yes, HDC products were sold as ‘product of HDC’ till then but in 1999 the brand name ‘Ayurvedic Concepts’ came into being.]
barely two and half years into it, they had to go shun that brand and go ahead and re-brand everything under a new name: Himalaya.
getting into all the reasons (some of them technical, regulatory and related to Indian Pharmacopoeia) of this hurried exercise and premature dumping of ‘Ayurvedic Concepts’
here at this time would not be appropriate.
but this is not to say all is lost. they have now shifted a majority of the sourcing to cultivated (and thus controlled) stock rather than the one that grows in the wild.
if done properly and by adhering to GMP then this (cultivated contract farm sourcing) isn’t bad.
HDC has in-fact tie-up with and helped GMCL (Gram Mooligai Co. Ltd) set aside almost 70-80 acre for exclusive cultivation of its (HDC’s) input crops/ herbs. http://www.ccdgroup.org/gmc...ml

these all are mostly faff orchestrated by spin doctors.
something that isn’t really much good for even some 80-85 years old person, can definitely not be too good for someone who is one-fourth that age.
and all this libido enhancement or be best between the sheets is more of a psychological play and practically no substance to the claims of mass produced potions/ drugs.
i mean over 75-80% of the claims are pure bull-crap and even for the 15-20% real benefits;
the risks are high, as the residual build-up over the years of any undesirable element or chemical in the body can cause havoc.

I think the the person who asked the question is asking in regard for making more muscles hence the boosting the testosterone. Even though these all are natural substances and are effective in their own right but none of them are effective for boosting Testosterone.
Ashwagandha is good for hyper stressed person. I remember once I took a capsule and felt so lazy that slept for 17 hours straight. Shilajit…never used…never had to. But if Ginseng is effective, Shilajit is termed as Indian-Ginseng. Etc etc. A natural substance can be used in moderation to see it’s benefits only if one is desperate.
ah okay brother, noting and absorbing this gradually
@thrifty_indian wrote: I think the the person who asked the question is asking in regard for making more muscles hence the boosting the testosterone.yes, i know (and would hope so.. that his plumbing is not the reason). but have seen cousins get signs of male pattern baldness even whilst not out of teens thanks to that dou hazaar teen hazaar per montth ka powder or whatever.. all synthetic or atleast lab-made testosterone enhancing stuff.

right! if ‘the person’ is Ishan, then i hope he knows what he is subjecting his kanchan kaya to. especially in light of the fact that his frail self is already subject to a lot by nature, medical condition and lifestyle choices.
but then again, who are we to say.

hain Sir ji.. but sadly, unlike benefits.. the ill-effects show up rather late in the life only after many years. by which time there is little to do.
the thing with ‘any’ (including antibiotics) new age or jazzy medications is , that there is no 100% proven and long empirical data.
besides we all hear stories: phalane jji ke phalane ayurvedic product mei mercury jyada hai. XYZ MNC pharma ko US FDA ne 6month ka suspension kar dia and so on.
hope you do not take this Ashwagandha type stuff in any party or gathering from any unknown person… it could even be a cocktail of roofies .. the way you described it
ye din bhi dur nahi jab patanjali ka condom bhi market me dikhe
#ayurvedic
will definately try out aloe vera fiber juice. i heard its taste is bad but its nothing if it provides health benefits thanks
