Not exactly,if u wanna buy a new one then i can suggest the best but havent used a asus laptop in my life so dnt knw abt their actual quality so much, plus warranty extension offer i am unable to search properly over 2g !!
Asus is good.
It features among top brands like
(I will put them in this order:)
Dell & Sony,
Lenovo,
HP,
Acer & Toshiba & Samsung.
It comes somewhere mid between.
If one reads reviews of all brands, one will find rants with all the brands.

thanks bro fr help, some karma fr good work
now just need info on warranty extension, its price nd any ongoin offer if there then i will use it
asus is best, i invested 4400 rs for 2 yr warranty extension
and changed many things (without any reasons)
1. screen got faulty replaced by asus in 7 days
2. keyboard got dusty, and i requested them to replace 2 times,
as i m very heav user keeps my laptop using almost 20 hr a day
sometimes i use it continuously for 3-4 days without sleep/shut down
3. motherboard, hard disk drive changed by asus when it has a small issue of charging jack
4. battery, adapter replaced by asus guys on last day of my 1st year warranty
i was afraid that battery will die after 1 yr so i requested them to replace adapter, battery
it ran for 1 more year
i can bet no one uses a laptop like this, asus guys are really cool.
lappy sell karna hai to bhai i am here
I have asus laptop. wont suggest this laptop. never had to service it but its very cheap quality. will never buy asus. display is very bright even the lowest and somehow the screen has been very bad on my eyes than my previous laptops.
i bought asus because everyone was sayings its good. i bought it for cheap and thats how it is. i would have regretted more if i had full price. got it at good discount thats why bought it.

Exactly. here are few problems with asus:
1. Pathetic Service by Asus. Don’t generally have stock of parts in India. So before repair get it from outside. This will be big problem in out of warranty case.
2. None of the Genuine Asus Product part sell in open market – Gray Market or online. e.g. Laptop Adapter, Batteries etc.
3. In failing case to get product open market – we buy these from Asus at 3 times market price. (Paid 4300 for Asus Adapter for laptop). have Asus Mail & Details to prove.
So overall I will Advice to Get out of asus reach as much as possible & ASAP.
