RetailMart Online : Just avoid

Now thats an honest review!

^^ i guess they were not ready to give disounts but simply want to increase their customer base……..

they just forgot some basics…..it was only because of “word of talk” and “customer satisfaction” they can increase their sales but not just by increasing their site visits……

Same’s the case with letsshop.in, greendust, etc etc!

They first provide with a coupon, then cancel those very orders & still the product is actively listed on their website, shamelessly!

They have been taking us for a ride for sometime now!

Worst part, they then land up here justifying their act to their own accord! WHAT RUBBISH!

1. they created a false promo code to make full the buyers
2. they cancelled all order booked through use of promo code
3. but order booked without promo code they say order shipped

these are three things due to which u should ban retailmart.com

no use of posting it on their facebook wall…i posted around 3 and they simply deleted them with out any explanation……….

they are keeping the posts of other issues which they are resolving and not the issues related to coupons…….. :XX

so is letsbuy.com they cancel some using coupons but will deliver without coupons, why should they give coupons in first place when they cannot deliver

This is in context with cancellation of orders of Rs.250/- discount coupon.
We apologize for the inconvenience happened but it was not premeditated. We offered Rs.250/- discount coupons with certain products. Due to this, the number of orders we received exceeded the available stock. Hence, we tried to fulfill orders, in priority, for those whose payments we had received in advance and apparently, we had to cancel the remaining orders.

I had a similar experience….

I had placed an order (# 29107) on 15-May-2011 for two items (Passport Case & Chocolate Cake) with Retailmart.com to be delivered to an address in Mumbai on 19-May-2011.

A few days later I heard from the recipient that the Passport Case was received but not the Chocolate Cake. On hearing this I wrote to the email address furnished on the website (service@retailma…om). There was no response and hence I sent out 2 more reminder mails – then again there was no response.

As there was no response to the mails, I called up the helpdesk about the issue a couple of times and on 10-Jun-2011 I was promised that the amount paid towards the Chocolate Cake (Rs 599) would be refunded and the amount credited to my credit card within 7-9 days.

I received my credit card statement last week and there was no such transaction.

So I called the helpdeks again last week and was told they would check with the concerned dept and call back within a couple of hours. I waited a couple of days and there was still no call. When I tried calling the helpdesk again today – the calls go unanswered!

I’m not sure what this company is upto and how many have customer have been conned!!

Let us make a tower of silence for the rouge sites like retailmart.com and Yebhi.com …

Very Frustrating Service.

NO one on call no one on chat!

Order for 2 books for more than a week, no response.

Waiting until I conclude that my money is looted by this retailmart.com
