Removing Hypothecation from RC of 2 wheeler

Hey guys, i want to remove hypothecation from my vehicle RC, in Mumbai.
I wanted to know if the hypothecation removal process is completely online.
I googled it but some say we need to visit, some say we dont need to visit.
I cannot visit RTO or Agent cause im out of town for a while. I need to remove the hypothecation in this week.
Do you guys know if the hypothecation removal process is completely online?
Let me know if you have any experience with this.

i have to applied online and later after filing form and payment . i have to visited the RTO.there directly go to counter and submit the form. Submit the old RC+NOC+OTHER DOCUMENTS. AFTER 1 MONTH RE VISITED AND TAKEN THE NEW RC.

Select your state then select your RTO.
On next page click on Hypothecation termination.
Fill the form to know if your state is fully online or not.
Most of the states are online now.

I recommend contacting RTO directly via phone and seek confirmation from them.
