Refund considered spend on credit cards?

I had ordered the S23 Ultra and iPhone, but later canceled the orders and received a refund. Will these refunds be considered in the accumulated spending on my credit cards?

Technically counted? yes (you spent and became part of statement and not refunded in current cycle), but if, as a settlement in next billing cycle, it reduces that bill amount in same value, so negated...
If refund is credited back to source , not counted as spend, if credited to wallet it maybe considered spend
