Re-apply HDFC card after closure

Hello,
Recently I got HDFC Swiggy credit on FYF basis after waiting for months for LTF offer but unfortunately a week later I received LTF offer in all my accounts and now I want to close card and apply with LTF swiggy account. Please tell by your experience if you were able to apply for the card after closure and was it same process as first card like verification and all or it was instantly approved.
Before closing I would highlight this issue to HDFC support in order to get it LTF or maybe convert to other card since it got devalued lately because of Amazon changing MCC and offer discount not applicable.

Well yeah you're correct, technically not a devaluation but still one of the reason I took it and in just a week it was changed so a bit disappointing.

Ask hdfc to make it LTF as eveyone over internet is getting it LTF.
Dont close this card, dont ever make this mistake.

You can reapply tataneu card but on swiggy app and using same number you cant reapply swiggy card as they never delink the closed card from the app and are also idioit when u ask them to delink. They reply " please contact hdfc bank to delink card" 😀

I will not apply from same number since I have a LTF offer available on two of my alternate numbers.

No I have sent an email to nodal officer, if they don't convert it to LTF I will close the card and apply again.

Amazon changing mcc is not devaluation, it's correcting the system.
Other than that if you mail them they will most likely make it ltf.
