On April 1st 1:03am I did a transaction on Paytm of about 25k for which I was eligible for reward points . But I didn't got any upon checking bank changed the date of the transaction and it is now showing that the transaction is done 31st March ( I used 100% of my reward points quota of April month ) . I escalated this to the rbl team they said they have issued 1000 points then I went to gyftrr they said they have only received request for 749 points . I again mailed the rbl team for proof or anything so that I can show proofs to gyftrr no response from anyone I escalated this to pno then the next day I got mail from their credit card customer care that this is handled via banking support while in my whole mail I never mentioned about credit card. (They just didn't looked upon my mail ). Now it' has been 15 din since haven't recieved any replies from customer care .

Can this matter be taken to rbi ? Does rbi entertain anything like this other than financial issues ?

Yes, you can complain about Reward points to RBI Ombudsman if the same was promised and as per eligibility. The same happened to me and I raised a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman and within 2 days received the 1000 points as well since I was eligible for the same.

Go to the RBI Ombudsman Website link: https://cms.rbi.org.in/cms/indexpage.ht...ng , click on File a Complaint for filing a complaint, and attach all proof of emails, photos, and other communications with the bank regarding this issue. Mention your issue in the description. Mention the Branch of your account, that field is mandatory. And yes, they will register the complaint for debit Card reward points also.
