Rant: Induslnd - Worst Bank Ever
I usually don't post rants but this bank is just too much for me.
So I opened their select account (50k min bal) on 19th June in hope of a 0 bal eligibility due to the legend cc I hold but that just turned into a nightmare.
I transferred the 50k but it didn't showed up in application it took 2 weeks & multiple follow ups to get this updated.
Next I got this vkyc message but the agent rejected it. Now they put debit freeze on my account & I was forced to visit the branch to submit the doc which was not nearby.
But nothing happened more follow ups for 2-3 weeks then I got this successfull signature & kyc update message but debit freeze was not removed. Again I had to do follow ups this time I raised it on the twitter, to which this month only the debit freeze was removed & I was able to do the upi txn.
Now the latest thing today I was trying to do the txn on bb using my debit card but txn was failing then I tried on Amazon & swiggy still failing I checked card is active & txn are enabled with sufficient limit.
I contacted the support which said some Ecom txn needs to enabled & will take 3 days what a bs it doesn't make any sense at all.
It's been around 1.5 month now still I am not able to use my account properly, net banking is messy & so many other issues.

Update: The ticket I raised for the debit card txn not going through just now got closed. But the transaction are still failing 😐😐
I have Indus Maxima Account and have Pinnacle CC how can upgrade to Exclusive with Zero Balance
I guess you have to talk with your rm for the upgrade and then linking the cc with your account.

Very bad experience with IndusInd Bank. I opened an Online account, deposited 50K and tried to complete VKYC. The VKYC staff told me she could not go ahead with the process as there is some match and hung up the call without any clarification. Got in touch with the non-home branch to complete offline KYC. The Service Request raised on my behalf showed up on my registered email ID. Within few days, the SR was rejected. I approached the same branch again for additional formalities and they raised another SR just to be rejected again after few days. During this period, IndusInd Bank had placed my account in freeze state. It took 30 days for the bank to unfreeze my account after multiple follow-up. Customer service is pathetic and branch has not much clue on the reasons for rejections from the backend.
My experience is very similar to yours. but scenario is different.
I was facing issue in credit card linking in mobile bank application for last one year and it works in web.
This issue still persists.
Till today, I have had a very good experience with indusind bank, initially when the account was opened they keep on calling insisting Sip or credit card, but I keep on rejecting. Now I have a smooth transition and experience with this bank.
I really appreciate your patience.
Immediately file complaint with RBI Ombudsman and believe me they will come to your home for KYC update
I limited calling IndusInd customer care as the proof of communication with the Bank support is limited. Their Service Request (SR) can be in open state for 3-5 working days and the SR rejection triggers on the registered email ID. It is always better to use email as a channel of communication and try to sort out the issue with the bank itself.
If we approach RBI, the correspondence with the bank in this regard plays an important role, also consider the wait time for RBI to take up the complaint from the queue and possibility of rejection if the supporting documents are not in order. Once the complaint is rejected by RBI Ombudsman, they will never consider a duplicate complaint.
Incidence is true, but believe me, sir, when it comes to credit cards, no one provides benefits like IndusInd Bank. Can you imagine? Here, all the big banks charge for lounge access with their chargeable cards. This legend, however, provides free lounge access with a lifetime free card. It is great and commendable. I also had a similar experience with locker opening and management, but it's okay. IndusInd is the king, especially if you use EazyDiner. Not even the highly chargeable cards come close.

I am having 2 accounts (1 in Indusind and other one is in Indie). 1 is 7 years old. Good experience with the bank. My RM resolve my all issues. 2 times I faced small issues and my RM and their customer care team resolved. Happy with their service.
I have Aura Edge CC and few months back I paid 270/- less than the bill amount. The actual bill around 101xxx and made some part payments. Unfortunately, I didn't noticed the shortage amount of 260/- on total bill amount. In next bill they charged around 8500/- stating late payment, interest, GST etc. Customer care people are giving robotic answers when I asked about this charges. Finally, I am asked card cancellation then they accept refund 4200/- on next bill. Still they are calling every day and forcing me to take for card upgradation (10k+ annual fee cards), again and again they are asking to convert EMI options on unbilled transactions. Even after complete CC payments within due date, they are calling and asking the acknowledgment numbers. I have Kotak,SBI,Axis,HDFC cards but no one is irritating like this. I want to cancel this card soon and I won't recommend this bank services.
I have applied for select saving account and also for physical card which is free.
After linking, account will be with zero balance and will physical card still remain free? And also will it be free in next year and subsequent years?
It will always be free untill they change the relationship criterion.
I read somewhere that if you have CC before opening select saving account, then its not possible to link. So then you have to earlier delete the CC login ID then only it can be linked? Is this true or not?
No Its possible. I got it linked now on mobile banking and both are showing up there.
This is a 'lethargic' kind of bank!
1. I wanted to change mobile number associated with my bank accounts. went to Kotak Mahindra Bank first; they changed my number in less than three minutes at the counter itself. Not so with IndusInd! They took almost a week.
2. i went to close my salaried account at IndusInd. The representative there said don't close it, convert it into a Savings account. I said okay. Next sentence he said 'Sir, 20000 balance rakhna padega!' On the contrary, Kotak converted my salaried account to a savings account without any hassle or balance.
I don't understand how they are able to survive with this kind of attitude.
Your problem solved bro? Yesterday My RM raised a request to merge two CIFs and then my transactions were failing, just like you. I contacted my RM and he deleted one CIF permanently and now Debit Cards are working fine. May be you need to tell your RM to delete one CIF.

Naa bro it's still just like that meanwhile I lost my wallet hence the card so I am trying to get the cards re-issued without getting charged 🥲
Also how to know if I have 2 cifs? And which one to be deleted?
indusind is a real shit bank in terms of net banking & mobile banking.
initially i had a credit card and i was using indusnet banking
later i opened a bank account but i was not able to view it in indusnet. i registered for indusmobile app and linked relationship but i am not able to redeem debit card rewards points.
i tried calling customer care but they just put on hold for hours. this is the worst customer care i have ever seen.
my problem is still not solved.
It is indeed. Their call support keeps you in long queues and really have no clue of the problems. It's a total chaotic bank.
All I need is 0 bal account with an 0 amc signature card don't want to keep any other form of relationship with them. But even that seems to be very difficult 🥲
My experience was smooth I already had legend cc and opened select acc via online and got kit within a week and link both cc & account within few hrs . finally confirmed 0 mab ...all within a week...
Been using indusind for the past 3 yrs. Have had quite good experience.
Initially had joined for their good FD rates, latter on moved quite a bit of my portfolio to them after satisfactory experience for over a year.
1+ 4 addon accounts, gave 4 Exclusive DCs.
0 Forex / BB offers / BMS offers etc.. Not complaining.
Several times had requested RM to visit and collect docs from me and RM did so, even though my branch being over 13Kms away.
Maybe I am lucky, but again good experience.
