Rahul Gandhi announces minimum income guarantee ,scheme as Congress’poll promise. Rs 72000 annually to benefit 25 crore people, 5 crore families
India’s poorest 20% will recieve Rs. 72000 per year.
5 crore families or 25 crore people to benefit from this.
Rahul Gandhi dropped the biggest bombshell of his basic minimum income narrative today, revealing the contours of what his brainchild will be like.
He also apprised the media on the likely beneficiaries of the dole, which will amount to Rs 6,000 per month. Gandhi has named the scheme Nyaya
The scheme will benefit the poorest 20% of India’s population, the Congress president announced. Under the scheme, Rs 72,000 is proposed to be transferred to the beneficiary households every year
Five crore families and 25 crore people stand to benefit from the scheme will Gandhi cited as epoch-making because “nothing of the sort has been ever attempted anywhere in the world.”
If Congress comes to power, this scheme will be its way of repaying Indian voters, Gandhi said.

Indentification of families is difficult in country like India where u can buy any certificate but it is a very good scheme and much needed for country like India after demo and GST blunder

Criteria is monthly income below 12,000
Shitty policy to fool people as they used to do…How are they going to provide this benefit if they dont take direct Tax. They will obviously not pay from their own swiss reserves, they will hike indirect taxes and prices to fulfill these lucrative looking policy, just like they used to do before modi.

Congress left a huge pile of Loan (relating to oil) in their last years, which BJP repayed when petrol/diesel prices were low.
Just check the Fiscal deficit percentages for the past 10 years.
People who were concerned about 36000 crore BJP’s support to farmers, are now opem to 360000 crore Rahul’s promise. 
First think why after sooooooooo long rule of congress party in India, people still need to give free money without working?

They ask why poor get money for doing nothing never questions why Ambani gets Rafale deal for doing nothing, not even an employee or an inch of porduction unit.
Prove how much money Ambani got. Also please provide data of existing MiC in India which could take such kind of workload. Also read about what are JV and what are ToT and such and come blabbering here 
Scheme looks promising but definitely going to have fiscal implication. Moreover it’s “difference scheme”..meaning the income will be levelled to make it 72k per annum if person is earning less then this….. however from administrative point of view it will require some good ground work to consider for inclusion and exclusion error.
