I had a dream of seeing 2 people with my own eyes: Sir Ratan Tata and Michael Jackson. None of them could be fulfilled.
miss you sir ...... Whoever is going to take tata empire must follow ratan tata ideology charity pets care and many must follow
An absolute bolt out of nowhere. Truly an end of an era.
The last thing I read abt him was the msg that he released - Getting tests done due to age.
This news and loss will take a long time to sink in.
Rest in Peace, True Ratan of India! 🫡
No offence, can anybody tell me how was he so great. I never got any benifits from tata but even today I am buying tata salt at Rs. 28 when basic cost is only Rs. 2. Now people will tell me he was doing charity but everybody knows big business men open charitable trust to save taxes so this I won't accept as a proof of his greatness.
May not be Great but Far better than others .
Ask People from Jharkhand Tatanagar.
Regarding his kind_revenge buy Jaguar Land Rover is also very interesting and motivational [ a single one page story is better than YouTube 5 cr view channels of motivational speakers ]
Other brands also Provide Salt [ maybe cheaper] . But there is something Trust/Tata trust [ his shares made Many Indians crorepatis due to stable business growth]. Quality matters.
Rarely does a loss of a public figure, especially one who's not an artist or great scientist evoke such large-scale emotions in people but after A.P.J Abdul Kalam's passing in 2015 and Lataji's passing in 2022, this is another time I feel a sense of loss for India as a whole.
He was a nation builder like his forefathers, but with a deep sense of purpose, integrity and humility in a very transforming India that saw tremendous amount of change from pre-independence era till now. With the great wealth and power at his command, he directed it to proper use and growth of the economy, leading the Tata Group to become a multinational powerhouse. He was extraordinarily generous compared to his crorepati capitalist-minded peers. He was very kind and grounded. A visionary who led the Jamshedshi-founded Tata group to globalization and put it at the international scale, a humanitarian who best utilized his wealth for the welfare of crores of people. Jamshedji and JRD Tata will be proud in heaven to welcome him.
His work and charity have touched so many lives, it's no surprise that so many people have something to say after his passing. They wish to express their gratitude that his generosity and empathy for people will be remembered for years to come.
He was an absolute gem of a person. RIP sir you will be missed a lot 😞.
Mera unse milne ka sapna, sapna hi reh gaya 💔.
I will surely visit Tata House tomorrow to see him one last time, and I’m sure thousands of people will be there to pay their respects. Anyone from Mumbai can join!
Edit-
"CM Shinde - Tata's mortal remains will be kept at NCPA from 10 am to 4 pm on Thursday for public to pay respect"

Rest in peace Sir .. you will never be forgotten..
"One day you will realize that material things mean nothing. All that matters is the well-being of the people you love." Ratan Tata ji
Sir leaves behind a legacy.
His mobility was severely impaired in the last few years🥺.
Yet, his spirit and sense of humour was as they were.
Despite being a Tata, when he first came to the the helm of the affairs, there were MANY many challenges that stared back at him.
He did what he did and remember.. that was the era when licence raj was still around, that was an era when labour unions were more powerful than politicians, industrialists and usually got their way with the others.
Not to mention the usual corporate dynamics, politics.
I still remember that one interaction.. when we often saw 'many' (Mercedes) cars lying around in a specific lot in the Tata colonies or Tata company premises
It was unsold inventory.
At this semi informal gathering when he visited TELCO.. someone (not company staff, not an employee.. but one of us) posed some question about the same.
(The Europeans had partnered with the Tata group, who imported the CKD kits, then assembled them here.)
Now that one sees Bhavish Aggarwal and the way he is mishandling the Ola fiasco..
.. one cannot help but remember the poise and grace with which he responded to the person and addressed us.
No frown or any change of expression any DEFINITELY not even a hint of irritation or anger.
Years and years, decades of maturity.
Even then, he could bring humour into the conversation.. we were told.. during serious deliberations, meetings too.
Later, although I did not get to share space with him ever, others in the Tata group or in his close circle often spoke of how the downward spiral of the Nano (mini car) project pained him.
He still took it in his stride and as a learning experience.
I am not here to write paeans of praise or to just portray him in good light.
Yes, he too DID explicitly authorise politicians 💷to be kept happy💵 or silenced enough💸 to not sabotage some important project.
He too did have to buckle under or chose to side with one side.. in their internal family politics.. which spilled over into the corporate realm and had consequences for the Tata group, the investors the shareholders.
But none of that changes my larger, overall view of him.
I still view him the way I did.
It did pain me, others.. that after having certain experiences, events earlier on in his life.. he chose to remain single forever.
He leaves us all with an indelible mark, both in his professional career and his personal life.
Heartfelt consequences and prayers.💐
