Query regarding phone exchange offer from Flipkart

I have never ordered anything with exchange offers but planning to do so now. Have a few questions.

1. Does the customer have to pay the entire cost of the phone at the time of placing the order and the delivery person after performing the checks will pay back in cash/bank transfer the price of the exchanged product?

2. Does one really get the maximum value of the exchanged phone mentioned on the platform (flawless) even if the condition of the product is actually flawless?

3. Any advice from dimers about things that should be kept in mind before performing the exchange (of course apart from backing up data, factory reset etc.)

Any help will be appreciated.

1. No full payment is required.

2. Flawless according to you might not be counted as flawless.

3. Reject their offer if you are not satisfied with offer at pickup.

4. Behave smartly like smart phone

1. So only need to pay the difference at the time of placing the order and pay the delivery person the balance if the exchanged product is undervalued after check?

@HasdaChehra @mas143forever Is it also mandatory to handover the original box & charger of the exchanged phone?

I have attempted a phone exchange twice via Flipkart and was unsuccessful both times. First time the agent did not turn up at all and lied that I was not home. Second time, the website had a glitch and despite me selecting my phone for exchange it was removed at the time of order confirmation.

On the other hand, my 2 exchanges with Samsung Shop / website were smooth despite my phone screens having discolouration / burn-in issues. I got around Rs 1800 on both occasions for my 4-5 year old Galaxy S's but the key was the extra Rs 8k as the exchange bonus.

Better to opt for cashify....their agents try to get maximum amount for u...instead...flipakrt ones will try to deduct maximum possible....even ask for extra 1000-1500 to keep the said amount showing on while u ordered
