I would like to open a NPS account. I figure this would be good investment considering someone being on old tax regime and on higher(30%) tax slab.
I wanted to open on Zerodha - Pros - Equity/MFs/NPS are on one place. Cons - payment only through UPI.
Other online apps/websites - allow payment using CCs as per I have seen here.
So can someone please conclude this from me what would be best option.
In case its non--zerodha what would be the best CC to pay - I have Axis(FK/MZ), ICICIC(APAY,CORAL,PLATINUM), CITI,AU LIT, SBI SIMPLYCLICK etc.

My query was a little confusing I know. But my question was if I would pay through my credit card while opening an account through PoP i.e. Zerodha. So is there any way to pay NPS contribution through some kind of billpay like option from a different website than Zerodha.
I understand your query and have the same doubt.
My understanding was if you opened an nps account directly from the website(not sure if that's a option),
You will be able to pay using credit cards via payment gateways.
Does that make any sense? Is this right anyone?
But I dropped the nps thing. Because it's so convoluted the charges, ever changing rules and the decades away lock-in.
It would be better to put the money in an index fund.(Not withstanding the tax benefit ofcourse)
But nps is attractive for people in their fifties. All the tax benefit and soon to be receiving lumpsum.
I heard if u open nps from ur employer then shayad kuch fayda hota hai
Account opening have same benefits corporate or individual account.
Employer contribution up to 10% of basic is tax deductible.
You can shift your own individual account to corporate.
Someone asked the same question of mine in tradingqna , Zerodha admin replied as negative.
can we pay nps via rupay cc upi ?
You can open your nps account directly to CRA to save recurring txn cost. Currently we have 3 CRA.
Nsdl, cams and kfintech. You can shift to any CRA later free of cost.
If you open your account via POP( bank, broker) you have to pay extra charges.
