Pune Metro Smart Card, How to Get Pune Metro Special Card?
Pune Metro has a broader mass speedy transit system. Right now it is in starting phase. Pune Matero is going to benefit lakhs of people of Pune. Pune Metro line 1 is Swargate to PCMC & Line 2 refers to Vanaz to Ramwadi. Pune Metro recently launched a 1-month special offer to citizens of Pune. The Pune Metro Smart Card is available at Pune Metro stations.
Pune Metro Smart Card is available for the Pune & Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. The intelligent card-holding passengers can just tap their smart card in the (AFC) automatic fare collection machine to get contactless access in the metro stations.
The smart card in Pune Metro can be purchased through the selected metro station in PCMC & Pimpri Chinchwad Metro Stations. The travel card will be available at the selected station between 9.00 am to 9.00 pm

Note - currently, all Metros are not upgraded to accept NCMC cards or interoperable with other NCMC cards but work in progress. In future, we will see all metro/bus in the country will accept all NCMC cards.
NPCI also working with some international companies to help other Asian and African countries to build NCMC type payment system, this system will be Made In India.
Also CPI (Communist party of India) playing some politics to sabotage India's NCMC project because Center and some state govts spend crores of rupees to build Made In India Metro AFC gates, NCMC payment system network etc. CPI (Communist party of India) is accusing the government of spending so much money in NCMC projects, Which are already available in Metros made by Western and Chinese companies.
NCMC Card offer you offline wallet for offline contactless payment upto Rs200.
You can also customize your offline wallet contactless payment.
For example - if you daily travel through Mumbai buses or Bangalore buses etc, you can set your offline contactless payment only for bus ticket payment.
Your card will not work on any other types of contactless POS machines.
RuPay NCMC features will replace all Metros, Buses etc small size ticket travel cards.
RuPay NCMC will create a travel payment ecosystem like Oyster card in London, Nol card in Dubai, Octopus card in Hong kong, Japan's Suica card, South Korea's Upass card etc.
Is this available for use in Delhi NCR?

The implementation of NCMC & QR ticket will enable seamless travel by metro rails and other transport systems across the country besides retail shopping and purchases. At present, the Airport Express Line (23 KM) of Delhi Metro from New Delhi to Dwarka Sec-21 (6 stations) is having the NCMC and QR code ticketing facility available at its stations. With the award of this contract, the remaining operational corridors of Delhi Metro will also be equipped with NCMC and QR code compliant AFC system by June 2023.
