If one is stock selective then there is still scope in PSU. Always have a reason for investment just don't jump on the train. Eg. If you think GRM ( gross refining margin) will remain steady then one can think of looking at OMC like IOC & BPCL. Look if there will be value unlocking when these companies branch off to segments like lubricants & green energy. Don't buy just because these stocks have jumped & got an upgrade from brokerage.
PSU stocks have risen a lot so there might be correction. Only those will earn who can stomach the risk. If one sells stock after 20 percent correction then he may look elsewhere because there is going to be volatility in this sector. SBI, Canara & BoB are big banks in PSU sector. This is my personal opinion & not an advice.
