Problem with paying Electricity Bill at Paytm

I have paid my Bescom Bangalore electricity Bill at Paytm in so many instances of amount 101/- each, eventually I have received electricity bill today and surprised to see none of the amount is paid, the current bill amount is summed with previous month amount, as arrears. When I log into Paytm to check the recharge status, all are successful but none of them is paid to Bescom, I am blank at the moment whom should I contact to get my issue resolved.
FYI The account ID I used to pay the electricity bill is 10 digit Account ID displayed on the physical electricity bill … request you to Please advice …

paytm people r morons when it comes to paying bills (other than postpaid mobiles)
i faced the same problem
Even my bill also not paid for this month, I paid through paytm on 18th of October as my due date is 23rd of October.
But still it showing unpaid in the bescom site and also I got a mail from bescom that kindly pay the bill amount to avoid disconnection.
I raised the issue with paytm, a person named Dhiman replied on October 28 that we are coordinating with operator over this issue and will get back to you within the next 48 hours.
No response after that…..I don’t know what to do

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We had a technical problem at our end, which has since
been rectified. Your recharge should have been successfully
delivered by now. In case it has not been delivered, the
amount will be transferred to your Paytm account within
24-48 hours and will be available for immediate reuse.

same thing happen for me also for BESCOM bill, from last couple of months Paytm recharge is usually reflects after 2 to 3 days in bescom login but recent transactions dine on around 20 th Oct. is not reflected.
still wait for 24-48 hrs..they r just using our money at no coast (interest)

It failed for me few months ago when I made a payment through them of some 8000 bucks towards BSES Yamuna … but unlike shameless /thug and crook mobikdik/ they had a refund option of refund money to bank and the same got credited back in 24 hrs.

Note – the replies are just pre-configured without even reading the mail.
I have faced the same too many times. AFAIR, only two of my BESCOM transactions were successful in the month of July. After that, in August I made transactions of 101,102,103….110 and all of those failed. Since then all my BESCOM transactions have shown successful on the PayTM site but it never reflected in the BESCOM site. I have contacted PayTM and followed up with this for 2 months in August and September and all they do is ask for your patience and refund the money back at the end.
So just contact PayTM and they will refund the amount after a few days and the transactions which were showing as “Successful” will change to “Failed” after the refund has been processed.

No problem.. MSEDCL just don’t accept part payments..
Just an information for all those who have paid BESCOM electricity bill using paytm, I have paid the bill(part payments of 101 Rs) last month 8 times out of which 7 were successful. But this month all payments show successful in paytm but it doesn’t reflect in bescom portal(probably because of technical glitch).
But the bad part is that paytm is not processing the refund back to paytm wallet, I have written them atleast 10 times but they always reply with the standard template.
I did not know that paytm customer care is really bad. If anyone is able to get the money back to paytm wallet, please update the thread.
BTW, you cannot have credit in ur bescom account(tested this). The only reason I keep paytm cash is because of bescom and that is not working now.
Paid my Bescom Bill of 165rs on 15th Nov BESCOM hasent received the money as yet mailed them thrice till now no reply what so ever other than one email stating that we have looked into your Account and your recharge is showing successful please check and if you still have received your RECHARGE please do reply back to this mail and we will look into the matter this is not a recharge its an ELECTRICITY bill payment

Hey, same prob I have faced on this month. I want you to know that PAYTM is no longer vendor of Bescom and I have confirmed that from Bescom cusotmer care. So don’t pay ur electic bill further through paytm. And for you refund I can suggest as I did, Just got to paytm in facebook and post your prob on their wall with your order number and ask them to refund. This will help u as I have got my refund by the same way.
Paid 880/- for bescom , transaction shows successful on paytm app, but bescom has slapped me with arrears summed.

I understand that the recharge/bill payment for your Bill Payment BESCOM Electricity 4309682000 did not go through but your bank account/card was charged. I feel terrible that you had to experience that. We could do better!
I checked your account and found that the recharge/bill payment is now showing as successful in our system and was delivered on "25 Oct 2014 " at " 2:48 pm " . In case you have still not received the recharge/bill payment, please get back to me.

thats a deep shit bro… these people are totally gauche, they dont follow any responsibility towards them. I almost wasted 150rs just to talk to them coz there fone incessantly ringing bt nobody pick up. These shitty things followed by both i.e #mobikwik & #paytm. Its better to use the official website of electricity provider.
Paytm customer care on email is totally useless. . always contact them on FB and look at the response time. I was once chasing them for 3 days and I didnt receive a satisfactory reply, then went to fb, and got it sorted in 2 hours!
Rightly said. They treat follow-up replies to their mails as a new mail. So I would tell them my problem and receive an email asking for more details when I would reply with the details they would say that they’re not sure what the problem is as my email doesn’t describe it

Contact Paytm and tell them the money has not reached ur electricity provider. Open a ticket and follow it every 8 hrs till the time it is resolved.
