Colored ink tank printer will suit your needs.
Keep watching in hot deals of 5&6th August.
Hp smart ink Tank.
During sale @ 6399
Which model number to keep an eye on in HP?
I mean usually which model comes for 6399?
laser is okay?
want to keep for long or might resell in the years to come?
Laser: Brother (value for money, crisp quality, lower operational cost, decent after sales service).
Hewlett Packard/ HP Inc.: not as value priced anymore, but HP monochromes too have reasonable resale value. The running models (example: 1020, 1020plus) have extensive aftermarket (third party) spares and service availability even in smaller towns.
Canon laser printers too are fine. Although in smaller towns their after sales service can be a bit ho-hum.
Inkjets: Epson, Canon (non duplex) printers have low operational costs and can be long lasting.
Canon can give really decent quotes for basic monochrome or colour (non wireless/ non WiFi) printers and do not lock you to proprietary inks.
HP might start forcing complete replacement of the ink cartridge.. even if only one out of the CMYK-B tank is low on ink.
many HP printers now come with some sort of a PCB or an IC in the ink cartridges which 'talks' to the printer for identification.
Do not know if override hacks are out there, but in such cases, if one installs one's own replacement ink or third party ink cartridges.. then HP printer stalls and rejects them as counterfeit or suspected virus.
If needed for frequent photo printing or kids' projects then the 6000 rupees budget might have to be stretched for good quality smudge resistant colour prints from Epson, HP.
Epson's micro-peizo (bubble) technology gives fairly high end prints.
HP too has good inkjets/deskjets for photographs or vivid colour printing.. but they shove MFDs (multi function devices) down the customer's throat and the standalone colour (inkjet) printers often lack many features.
Brother, Canon lasers are often used even by commercial establishments (near colleges, schools) as photocopiers. (They scan and print).
Upfront costs of Canon can be amongst the most competitive (depending on the segment/category and the vertical like B2B versus B2C).

This Brother Deluxe 750TR would be 50 years old soon.
It still works. So yes, 'Brother' (if made in Japan) products are fairly rugged and yet fairly priced.
Hi
Can we use 3rd party ink in hp or canon ink tank printer.
Which will be better ink tank printer HP smart tank 585 or Canon G3010 or is there any better one in this price range
how is brother's after sales support in Delhi?
There is an old thread still relevant. Search for it. For 6k you would get Inkjet printers. They are worthless. Extend budget and buy an ink tank printer else don't buy.
Check the cost of ink replacements for the inkjet printer you are planning to buy. At times they'll cost half of your printers cost.
I have CANON G3010 MF WiFI Ink Tank Printer (AIO) which I'm using since Aug. 2020, so 4 years. Have used it mainly for kids projects, casually to scan documents and as a copier. It still has 20% ink left.
I would highly advise a ink tank printer.
Bought at? Ink doesn't dry out if not used regularly?
Ink Tank if you want color prints, and Laser if only black & white. Will suggest brother. I have a brother ink tank printer t426w for sale, if you're based in Hyderabad feel free to DM.
Using canon3010 for past 3 years without any issue
Thanks guys for your suggestions
