I am looking to conversion of my one of family member jio sim to postpaid due to issue in jammu Visit
Kindly confirm following jio no has 6 active queue plan of 666 for prepaid if requested for conversion in postpaid ?
1. All upcoming jio prepaid plan will get vanished or wiped off ?
2. It will added to upcoming postpaid bill all 6 plans
3. Is it mandatory sim need to purchase from j & k state only for postpaid in other state following sim won't work.
4. Our old no converted from jio prepaid to postpaid will not work in j & k but it works in rest of india.
Kindly give some solutions if anyone experience same situation
seems online jio postpaid conversion not eligible as postpaid for jammu jiostore verification must needed.
Feels can't use any payment since no sms will get delivered on primary no.

As per my information prepaid fully restricted for j& k .
I believe you are pre & post pay sim 10 RS Postapaid plan.
Though TRAI or government rules remain the same for operators.
Airtel too accepts, SMS/OTP based migration to postpaid, after logging on the their site or the application.
Such migration (without filling CAF) is treated as on-line migration.
(In Airtel) such numbers do not have service in Kashmir, Jammu.
Instead if one goes to the operator store and physically goes through the process of migration (in any circle), then a Customer Acquisition Form (CAF) is filled.
Even if all that is done on the operator application, it still us treated as physical verification.
Sunch migrated numbers DO work in Kashmir Jammu.
'Visit'?
What do you mean by visit?
Is it short, temporary?
Is it for months, years?
If it is really that important to receive calls on GSM number, then one can temporarily arrange a local SIM/number of someone.
All calls on the main (Jio) number can be auto-forwarded to such a local number for a few days, till one's own number can be arranged.
Unless some high profile person, company or internal connections..
no operator would pass on the pending benefits/recharge amounts from the prepaid connection to the postpaid connection.
Mostly the queued recharges on the Jio prepaid connection will lapse if converted to postpaid.
If there are multiple people in a group or family and trip is / requirement is for only 8-10 days, then migrating a prepaid number with large amount of credits to postpaid is not worthwhile.
Nah nah postpaid kra loo....sara India ghumo Airtel ka 299/399 ka plan ata hai j&k me bnd ni hogi mere dost ne test kiya hai koi dikkat ni hiyi
just carry your aadhar and have a new prepaid sim in jammu , it take 10 minute to activate , postpaid is for loosers
