PNB Hikes Issuance & Annual Charge of RuPay Platinum & Select Debit Card

With effect from 5th June, 2023, PNB has hiked issuance and annual charge for their RuPay Platinum and Select debit cards. New rates are as follows :

Variant Issuance Charge (Primary) Issuance Charge (Add On) Annual Charge
RuPay NCMC Platinum / RuPay JCB Platinum​ Rs. 250 + 18% GST​ Rs. 250 + 18% GST​ Rs. 250 + 18% GST​
RuPay Select​ Rs. 500 + 18% GST​ Rs. 500 + 18% GST​ Rs. 750 + 18% GST​


I found about this today only and it can be seen as a late post for sure but I didn't find any thread on it, so, anyway went ahead and posted it. What are your thoughts on this?

This is half info, full info -

PNB Visa/Mastercard Platinum and Visa Signature debit card price also hike.

yes, they've revised charges for other DC variants too but since I didn't know earlier pricing of Visa variants, so, didn't post/mention in the thread.

also, PNB was among one of the banks offering RuPay Platinum and Select DCs at a low price but it's not anymore.
